[REL] Corvette C6.r ZR1 2013 & C7R 2014/15 by UnitedRacingDesign July 2016

    Got it, fixing now.

    All other issues sofar posted are fixed-mirrors adjustable separetly now, font for place fixed, tire textures and now this. I guess only sounds left to be checked.
    V2 will be released along EGT than and if somebody asks himself about why C7r is high version number, that is basicly to keep same class cars track at wich version we are so we dont have cars in 1.1b, 1.3 or 1.8...

    Silverstone lap times: I did 5 lap runs and took the best time out of them

    S6: 2:02.9xx

    S7: 2:03.3xx

    S8: 2:03.5xx

    S9: 2:07.1xx

    Should mention - the AC damaged car is the LoDs actually, if you get a good look at it you can see the crumpled bodywork you get in that title when you smash into something. Probably why the LoD pop in is more noticeable, as it's switching to a "damaged" car.

    There is no damaged car in AC actually, its only done with textures there and i dont have anything from that here ;) I might just have to adjust the LODs overall slightly. What settings do you use for opponents?

    Ales, it seems that the C7r causing CTD. Everytime if a C7r is online all joining drivers after the Corvette get a CTD as well as the Corvette itself.

    Nicee!! I see you're making good progress, sorting things almost immediately!!

    Are you aiming to release the rest of the cars in the middle of the week??

    Edit: Don't forget about the tilted steering wheel issue!

    Is it mixed with EGT? And, all need to remove old C6r.

    Some log/trace would be good.

    I've used Full and High, both have the same issue in my experience. On second look, it may not be the AC damage, but it sure as heck looks like it! The shot below is on high, but I've seen it on full as well.

    You can see the "damaged" rear of the two C7Rs in that shot.

    Obviously as well you can see the #3 is missing half of itself (this is on the pace lap, no damage) - the bodywork phases in and out at certain distances. The other C7Rs do it as well, the C6R is fine and doesn't do this. When the bodywork reappears it's fine though and doesn't appear "damaged" like the rear of the cars.

    Ah got it!
    I know what that is. Basicly it is so that the body is gone. I need to add MAX/HIGH/MED/LOW settings for that. Adding them now.

    Yes mixed with other EGT cars. Old 1.8 C6r is has been removed. I will do some log/trace

    So far I like both cars a whole lot!

    The C6R, at least on the #63 skin has the USA flag backwards on the right-hand side ;)

    The C7R has a great feeling to it, besides the LCD things in cockpit that were already mentioned I think the arm animation could be a bit better? Although that's just me being nitpicky ;)

    The C7R's default setup surprised me at first with how understeery it was, but with a bit more time spend with it and some setup adjustments, it was all smooth sailing!

    Thanks for the tremendous efforts with these Corvette's! It's almost like being back at Spa just a few weeks ago :eek:

    I don't have a #63 skin, but the others are correct so I'd expect them to be correct. The blue portion of the flag always goes towards the front. It may look backwards, but it is correct if that is the case.

    I meant the #73 skin, my bad :) And apologies for being wrong then, it's just when I saw the flag looking backwards, I thought it may have just been a little texture issue, cheers for clearing that one up :)

    I think that the only thing causing understeer on the c7.r is the tire model...

    I had to decrease negative camber at the front to -1.8 and at the rear to -0.9.

    I hope the new contact patch corrects this....

    The other thing I had to do was to put more downforce at the front... and the car now feels much nicer.

    eesh. is that default setup?? my times are quite pathetic..

    just looked at this http://www.fiawec.com/races/6-hours-of-silverstone/results-and-chrono.html i guess they run a lot less downforce than id have thought if those top speeds are correct
