"AtlantaMP reached the point where it's almost entirely out of OUR hands, and in final testing. Yes, that means it'll be in YOUR hands soon!"
Three new tweets with pictures the last 24 hours. Seems release of Atlanta MP is very close indeed. With @rFactor2's @ATLMotorPark currently being in the hands of our Test Team, here's a chance to study the layout ... https://twitter.com/ISITrackTeam/status/604005945094586368 Carefully inspecting terrain before we let you loose soon. Note that @timwheatley1979's shoes are not visible in v1.0 https://twitter.com/ISITrackTeam/status/604193842229874688 New in-sim track loading screens for future track releases, starting with @ATLMotorPark coming very soon. Better? https://twitter.com/rFactor2/status/604310261466415104
Taken from rFactor 2 official Twitter account "New in-sim track loading screens for future track releases, starting with @ATLMotorPark coming very soon. Better?"
M U C H better. No more distorted (stretch) track loading images And while the old antique look was ok for "Belgium", "Brianza" and "MonteCarlo" it was out of place for most tracks. All these little details add up and at the end help make the user experience better. Good job (and i know, not everyone is affected equally by the same details) Next... we can hope for a fix for the distorted HUDs (including virtual mirrors)
Hopefully they include the Trackdata and the Cardata into the Launcher/ModManager, too. Wether they`re installed or not.
Possible, but it would be just a background photo with values written on it etc. I would rather have it in the actual UI which we all know we are getting a completely new one sometime in the future which might bring some useful and neat features, stats etc.
Good idea ! Looking at the "Remote Content" screen for example, mouse-click on an item shows a window with a short info-text about that content. So it's much easier to decide, download or not.
Anything can help and improve things. Breeze of fresh air, no matter how small it actually is. I get the feeling that rF2 that we know now won't be anything like the rF2 by the end of summer break (till october that is), maybe the end of the year. Happy times in front of us I believe.
View attachment 16805 Really, really like the texture work here! As I've said before, rF2 can look as good as the glossier games if given a chance.
The overall look is better, though I am not sure what is happening at the border between the "menu area" and the background image. And the short form for Georgia is GA, not GE.
Give it some 3D grass goodness one day and it will be great! A few times the sharp textures are lost in a bit of a sea of mushed "flat" rendering. Ps: Let it be know the artwork for this track is gorgeous.
well, i take back all the nice things i had to say abouyt AMP looking like a great track. that looks hard.
Dear ISI, could you please, please put track Pit Limit in km/h and m/h to this new loading screens? Right now pit limit only flashes in left corner for couple of seconds when you get in to the car. Many times I miss it.
If you have assigned a Button for the Pit Limiter, press the Button and the Pit Limit flashes again (if the car have no Limiter). Of course, more Infos about the loading/loaded Track are very welcome....
