As many sections are not tarmac and no point to point racing is currently supported I'm expecting to wait a very long time for this, if ever. ISI or somebody would have to do a rally cross mod for this to be feasible with any sort of realism.
From Wiki and I live in CO On Pikes Peak: It used to consist of both gravel and paved sections, however as of August 2011, the highway is fully paved and as a result all subsequent runnings will be on tarmac from start to finish.
Sad but true. Does make feasibility more likely in rF2 since jury is still out on how good dirt physics are going to be. Different animal alltogether for obvious reasons.
Yes I've tried the Blackwood track; that one is nice, but what I mostly like from PikesPeak is the long point - point travelling distance... Also a track what I like to see for rFactor (I know this asking for much) is the Cannonball run; a couple of months ago there was a new release for rFactor and this track is a great drive!
I totally agree. I wish someone would convert the cannonball run. It it a great drive. Some tracks that are the best for cruising in rf1 are: crimson road, longford, cannonball run usa, transfagarasan.
