Well as far as I know rFactor 2 is really amazing can't go back to rFactor 1 well i can but the only thing that's stopping me from un-installing rf1 is all the content i can use. Probably most peoples problem as well. I was curious if anybody knew, wanted or even know if any hill climb tracks and or cars are being made like the BMW judd v8's the Merc m190 etc etc Would be madness in rF2 I personally love Hill climbs as much as i do Endurance racing and drifting ahha. I think in the next decade we could see an alpha version of some hillclimb and in the decade after that there should be 2 more (this time beta versions!) /uselessrant
I honestly didn't seen any of that except something about point to point but actual hill climb for rf2?! woo! Oh i got patience plenty of it I was just curious since I myself haven't herd anything much about hill climbs and possibly rally
I've downloaded that abit ago but for some strange reason gets 3/4 done and it crashes :/ sad sad sad BUT i may download it again or if there's an update download that and re-install it. for the mean time I'm in no rush seeing as rf2 is amazing and i want them to not rush and halfass things I got RBR and rf1 for hill climbs and rallys and i got BES mod (blancpains endurance series mod for rf2) I'm quite happy

AGREED!! I'm part of a group that runs hill climbs in rF1, and we're really looking forward to them being supported in rF2. The leagues are at virtualhillclimb.com if any of you want to kill some time while we're waiting

I also would welcome hillclimbs and rally tracks for rFactor 2, so that we have more variation in tracks to choose from... Till now, there is a nice lot of circuits to choose from, and that's great, but after playing the old rFactor for some years I now start missing 'driving' he hugh variation of tracks that I collected for this old title... But, having said al that, since I purchased rFactor 2, I tried several times to return back to the first version of rFactor to 'drive' the latest tracks and mods available; but every time I do, I instantly notice the HUGE AND BETTER difference in mod/track behavior from rFactor 2, forcing me to stop the old sim and go back to the new one.
Mountain forest doesn't work in this build Route 666 is amazing however with almost any car especially lada.
Considering these screens are almost five years old, with current methods this hill climb track could be spectacular, if they update and release.
Can someone tell me the difference between rally and hill climb? My guess: - No co-driver - Single event only vs. stages - More varied vehicles - Events are more numerous and more local? What else? Also, what is special about hill climb vs. any just regular point to point path?
What I can tell hillclimb means that people are racing roads that go uphill. But like you wondered, I really don't understand why any stretch of road could be a venue. No matter if it is flat, downhill or uphill...
