I lost the bald spots on the tires.

 

Seems that way with visual tyre wear. Flatspotting still has an impact on the FFB/driving though, so I'm wondering what actually happened with it.

Hello, automatic update worked fine, everything works fine except when I go to configure the setup of the car, every time you hear a car pass settings buttons do not work, everything looks frozen for a few seconds. I tried it with ISI and third cars and always the same, if I am alone on the track everything works fine.
A someone happens the same? is there any solution?.

General FPS about the same for me, but now many areas that used to see big drop-offs (due to shadows I suspect) are much more stable. Good advancement!

 

For the last couple of builds, I can't make the multiplayer server name filter work (I put my filter string in and the list still shows all the servers). Is it just me?

 

I have not been able to reproduce the odd sound issue with this build.
Would appear to be all ok now.

 

From this post I can say I made a more than a 5 minutes quick test! And now, I can really see the improvement in lot of different points including the graphic one. It's really sharper, nice color balance, From those last 2 days I have in my head several epic moment in memory, lot of great pictures with dust, shadow on dust, sun occlusion, reflections, etc. it's so immersive and beautiful! really amazing how all things goes well, I'm really impressed by all this work and progress! Thanks a bunch ISI, it's a dreaming Sim you have there!

Edit: Yesterday evening a friend of mine, PS3 GT5 driver, played a lot with my ring and I can say we will have soon a new driver for rF2 who gone build a full ring, buy a computer, just because it was amazed about the good looking and the wheel feeling

 

Anyone else get lag in list view when choosing a car?

Not a big deal, but a bit annoying.

 

I'm aware there's an issue with night lighting with HDR in this build, as per release notes, but im getting a big, blotchy purple & yellow sky with no HDR.

For me autoupdate stops after 60%. Tried it for 3 times. Now downloading manually.

 

Installed fine, not seeing any FPS drop so far, the reflections are a nice addition.
Unfortunately it didn't help with my Silverstone issue - Silverstone still hangs on loading regardless. No CTD but I basically have to terminate the exe to get out. Tried several times to re-download and re-install to no avail. Thought this new build might help but alas not. Silverstone is the only track I have this issue with.

I'm on quite an old GFX card (8800GTS 640) but before the update I could still use the sim reasonably well (considering the card). Settings were all at low, 720p, no shadows, no special effects, ... And I got around 40-50fps around Loch Drummond or Mores. After the update, same settings (cant go lower) 17-20fps
Luckily iRacings Bathurst runs at +100fps so I can atleast do some driving in the meanwhile

 

Great build , noticed at Loch Drummond when its raining the mountains in the background have no textures its just whiteout .
