New setting for g25/27 owner

    hi someone can test test this setting for g25 controller and report feedback please
    i change value for_:

    Steering torque sensitivity --> increase wheel weight on g25 wheel? not sure but i feel better
    Steering effects strength --> default value
    Steering torque filter --> reduce input lag

    logitech profile
    main ffb to 95%
    all to 0

    this is my controller

    Just quick feedback from the figures only: lowering the overall effects strength to avoid clipping seems unnecessary when you're setting your FFB to 95% in the profiler. rF2 won't ever output anything more than full force (it can't, actually) so if the profiler/windows isn't set above 100% you won't get clipping.

    correct you won', but testing with pedal overlay some ISI CAR clipping, also with profile @ 95% ...
    i even set 95% in logitech to prevent overload and damage g25 motor...:cool:

    Well I can't argue with making the motors do less work... ;)

    If rF2 forces 'clip', or reach maximum at times, that'll still happen even if you have the overall strength at 20%. It'll just stop at 20% instead of 100%, giving you less feel.

    How would the game know if your wheel is clipping? How does the game know exactly the how much and how many different forces/effects the exact model of a given wheel can output at any moment in time?

    Actually you are getting more clipping when you set the forces to a max. of 8500. Normaly all forces calculated by the game are capped at 10000. Now the forces are limited to 8500 and everything above is capped to this value and that means more clipping even when your plugin doesn´t show it.

    ok man try with default value 10000
    someone can explain steering torque sensitivity?
    that parameter make a huge different in feeel ... or is a placebo effect?

    Of course i can´t tell exactly how ISI calculates the curves.
    But in general you can say:
    -it effects most the middle strong forces
    -you can get stronger or weaker FFB without introducing clipping or losing maximum torque (at least in theory)
    -any other setting than 1.0 changes the FFB to a non-linear behaviour (curve) - not a disadvantage when it feels better for you.....
    -you can also use values like 0.9 or 1.1 just to finetune your FFB Feeling

    All clear ...only isi comment on parameter confusing me...
    1=linear 2=high 0=min...
    At this point need to know if under 1 was a exponetial curve...and over 1 is a logaritmic but i think so
