I've been making a skinpack for the Howstons in my spare time. Based on mid-1954 endurance racing in France. It's nearly ready. EDIT: NOW AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD: http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/22834-Howston-G4-G6-Carset-1954-Endurance-Racing?p=325125#post325125 This isn't really an action video, but rather an extended demo of the skins. Cruchy framerate, don't worry about it. text from the video page: "A skin set for ISI's Howston G4 and G6 cars. Fictional, inspired by 1950's endurance racing. Most skins are available for both the G4 (44) and G6 (42) (yes, total of 86). Includes opponent selection classes to use G4 and G6 together or separately. Includes basic talent file for both classes. The video was intended to be a short clip showing each car passing the camera, but it wasn't much more effort to set an accelerated time scale and change the cameras now and then."
you're the first, and long may it continue (i just want to make it clear to the internet that i'm just joking around ) but it's good to hear that you're looking forward to playing with the skins (that's what i'm assuming you're saying). i would abdicate my throne for anyone who would do a '50s la Sarthe and matching cars
Nice to see the difference being that big. I already knew even before the official release of the 9 series cards that I'm gonna own 970. It's just too good for it's price not to have it.
1080p on center screen of triples (desktop on left and right), max/quality, 4xAA. Same startup routine each running, same background programs (iTunes running, which it normally is on my PC as I serve the Apple TV library from it). It's purely a comparitive video of the difference between the two cards, not a base level of FPS each card can reach alone - and on a system gaming prepped.
It is. I just know sometimes it's hard to know exactly what an upgrade is going to get you. This video is what it got me.
