With the Silverstone vids I was taking, I had to set rF2 to 5:30am to get roughly the same sun angle vs AC's 8am. Even then, the suns were moving in such different directions that it made the shadows not match up. Granted, a track may be set for winter, and one for summer. It was still really odd though.
I miss rf2. …but only 6 more weeks and i'm home baby! ...but only for a few days then i have to leave for a few weeks. lol
My sister got married in Hong Kong and Australia and i decided to extend my stay whilst i was here. I'm on Hong Kong Island, Pokfulam. ~moved the next post to the internet thread~
No mate I've not, it didn't occur to me to try as all of the raw footage was spot on. I shall try later today. I also want to say my video is far from a troll despite the accusation on my video comments on YouTube. I did question putting out the video but I need to solve the stuttering issue for future videos. For example I intend to do an in-depth dw12 comparison vs iRacing when BOTH versions are complete and it's fair. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Ignore them. In sony vegas, was the rf2 segment also as quiet as it is in the rendered video? It's dead quiet to me vs the assetto corsa segment. Something just jogged my memory. Check to see if you have the sony vegas rendering video setting set to VBR (variable bit rate) or CBR (constant bit rate). You ideally want to use VBR so that if the raw video has fluctuating recording bit rate (i've known this to happen to me in the past), then you need to use VBR to keep the render smooth. Let me know if it works.
Guys... I have a feeling I may have asked this before, if so, then apologies but I can`t find it now. I have eventually got myself a rig with enough grunt to do some videos so I`m wondering how I go about doing that? I have Fraps but I`m not sure what settings etc to use to capture decent, HQ vids, so any tips/advice would be most welcome. If there`s any other good video capture software out there you guys would recommend then please let me know. Cheers
I use mirillis Action. It does the job well, is simple to use. https://mirillis.com/de/products/action.html There is a demo version to check it out aswell.
@tjc My last video here (1440p 60fps) is a raw out of the ShadowPlay function made by Nvidia, your GTX780 can do the same. Check in GeForce Experience. For better quality i use DXtory. http://exkode.com/dxtory-features-en.html
