    With that number no but then must be a problem somewhere else because grass and rails look blurry at distance. No?

    Forget... Same problem here... That's why I still love so much negative bias :p

    Is it possible to turn off anisotropic filtering in game and let gfx alone do the work?

    You must force that on GPU drivers. Teorically it will work the same way

    Hi,
    I have a gtx 970 and i must force anisiotropic filtering in drivers to make it work. The ingame setting doesn't work.
    And i have to set texture sharpening to 0 in player.json to have good grass textures in movement and smooth white lines. But with this setting, trees are not good. It has always been like that since day 1.
    ISI, do something please.

    Negative bias creates a flickering mess on guardrails (and every other object with sharp edges). Looks good on screenshots, but horrible when driving.

    Realy good shots Kimi, exept for the trees.
    Did you set texture sharpening =0?
    Or did you clamp negative lod bias by modifying your driver?
    I ask because the trees are ugly, exactly like on my system (i'm forced to clamp negative lod bias)

    I change nothing, everything is set to default as with fresh instalation. But now after you ask me, i was go look in player file and there write "Texture Sharpening":5, so this mean "auto". But i guess these trees by default don't look good anyway from close range, no matter which settings. But everything else(excluding strange skidmarks :)) is quite nice and good quality and of course great track for driving this old farts :)

    P.s.: This creens is also from a little modified track from original SRT(Road_America_v1.01) called "Road_America_v1.01sm" which has also different(or at least modified) trees if i am correct.
