Resizing 4K>1920 is not united screen that's for sure, it gives totally wrong immersion how game looks like.

 

Downsampling is not editing but for sure can be considered as a post-processing to simulate a full FSAA.

I think my post was a bit more uplifting.


Funny though I was driving a race ( those picks are realtime pause ) @4K at 50fps at the settings I posted above and with my specs.
It looked absolutely lovely as I said above the screens do not do incar justice.

My system is no faster then the guys with Sli says rF2 runs terrible and looks horrible and the next guy says it looks like a phone game.

You infer my pics are manipulated and will trick people into thinking rF2 looks better.

The big kicker Ari stuffs your story is those shots are No HDR and 4xS

You have told me before no HDR is terrible and in a seperate thread 4xS is horrible or words to those effect.

So how can I be conning anyone if no HDR according to Garp looks like crap.

 

I didn't say they are edited sorry. Unedited shot means pick your GRAB_X file from your rF2 screenshot folder and upload as it is, BUT at the time Durge is just posting a DSR version he can post in this thread. There is no editing (which means no offline manipulation inside the picture) but just a different way to get sort of Supersampling Antialiasing, by the GPU driver processing (downsampling). You can get this in realtime gameplay too, if your system is capable to manage the rescale algorithm (DSR). So, if those pictures are DSRs output, they're, technically speaking, unedited shots.

 

Okay from now on mate fair enough any 4K I put in edited screenshots ( I do a pretty good edit )

But I wont tell anyone which are 4K and which are 1920.

Actually when I posted those shots it never dawned on me honest that people would take issue, I just wanted to show off Longford and the GTO makes me proud that rF2 is my sim. lool


I only put 4K in little fonts so tj would not see it before he read my hints, ie: what gave it away as 4K. hehehe ( if you actually read the post you quoted you will see )

Speaking of edits to con people, what does Shift, AC and pCARS do with their videos , I see warning " These are in game shots " don't tell me they don't tart some of it up. ? Like I half blind and I can see it.

ISI's own videos always looks as in sim .............exactly.

I saw one of the first Historic videos of F2 and F3 at Monaco.

Very first build and the experience and look of the sim was exactly what I expected.

 

You are spamming every Nvidia topic here in forums with you screens claiming that all is just fine with rFactor2 gfx, are those screens like you game experience or have you also done something with those screens?

I have ALWAYS said all sims have there good and bad in graphics and other stuff.

 

Ari, don't spoil a nice topic looking for a fight. I think it was evident that Durge couldn't post native 4k res here or the forum would explode.

As Tuttle said you can get the same effect with a really powerful card and super-sampling.
