I have read all I could find on this subject and so far I have learnt, (rightly or wrongly ?), that the camera shake movements are all done at a track level? Is this true? Is there anyway I can tone this down or turn it off, without the changes resulting in mismatches? Are there any settings in the display options that may affect this? Any advice will be most welcome. Cheers for now
I have asked this question on another forum, but have still had no joy. As another member, Matt, puts it: "It's a fine idea, poorly executed. In the first place it occurs on cameras that are very far from trackside," Any suggestions will be appreciated.
The shake effect y done by "saying" at the camera that he move slightly to the left, right, down, etc, simulating a hand target camera, really in the file, is there a path that make those moves. To remove that you must delete that little path at the .cam file, and repacking, etc.
Not an effect that was really needed. I don't like it in other sims...and this one is no different. It's a gimmick we could do without. Use the resources for something else.
While I understand everything adds up, the resources for this would be absolutely minimal. I don't like it because it looks silly and is done badly - generally the shaking happens well before the cars arrive, when in reality you'll see very little camera shake and it'll happen after the cars pass.
Are you guys talking about the shake that happens right when the car goes by the camera, or the shaking'handheld' effect that some cams have? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The "head movement" setting in "controls". You guys try that? Default is 100%. I have mine set to 5%.
Yeah that's right, "shake" and "handheld" are selectable for every cam in the cam editor in the SDK. I was just wondering which one of those effects people find irritating? Or maybe both?
Yes, I said that if the car in the Replay view drives past the camera the whole picture wobbles extremely
