Thought this deserved its own thread seeing as so many people are pee'd off with the delayed plugins, now in Build 300:

    in your player.PLR file:

Wait For All Plugins To Load="0" // in single-player, delay race starts until all plugins load

Change the 0 to a 1 and (in single player as stated) your Plugins will load BEFORE the Race Starts not during turn 1 or two depending on the track!

Thank you SO much ISI for listening, so happy that we've finally got there :)

....now about that Bonnet cam... :p

Note that you are still made to wait, it's just the race start now waits with it.

    Marcg thanks for the pointer

I will give it a test, does it make everything pause before it starts -not just races
( practice session too -which is all I really seem to do Untill leagues etc start )

nah the actual red lights are simply delayed so you can sit there revving the engine away, kinda good for final checks if you don't have time for a warm up lap like me :)

A dev in ISI decided that it was the best option to take ( or something like that ) ,
this is the 1st dev to take this option for any sim,
Its a wild guess of mine that this dev dosnt use plug in's himself

You've clearly completely misunderstood, and inserted you're own tone into it.

Sorry Tim if I'm wrong , I remember reading an ISI dev took the decision to include the delay
I guessed at the time as a some kind of work around ( or another technical reason I don't understand), my post does seem harsh but I mean nothing personal by it

I don't want to seem impolite, I dont want to explain my irritation of the delay as I may again sound rude etc.
I use alot of plug-ins so I'm effected by this quite alot ( sli-pro wheel display, motion, simvibe etc)

In practice sometimes we have to reset quite alot etc

Well to clarify, if it helps, it was the only option to take for the best of rF2. :) Though it has taken us a while to think of (what seems a fairly logical) way to minimize how it alters your experience by also delaying the race start, for sure.

Good. That's a good compromise, waiting pluggin to be loaded before race start, thanks ISI! :)

Ps: Never commented of this delay as it seems a sensible question. Just asking: does NSA or Prism have something to do around this? ;) Just joking, forgive me ;)

Can someone explain what the problem with this plugin delay have even been? I might miss something because I only use trackmap plugin. I think I have never needed it before it has been good to go already.
