This should be fairly straightforward. I have some objects on my car that I don't want to receive shadows. I thought adding the line Shadowreceiver=False in the .gen file would do the trick but apparently it doesn't. Is there maybe something I should change in the material or export settings?

Beside lights, brakes glow, backfire and this kinda stuff i dont think anything else should not receive shadow. What object is it you want to do?

In material make emissive color white, that will solve it.

That won't really work for the cars' windows.

Thats true but windows should accept shadow, just not cast them actually.

If that's the case it's time to clean your windows :) Glass materials should only recieve a faint shadow and not the very strong shadow we have now. I'd rahter have no shadow at all at this point.

For the windows I use Cube map specular map T1. The shadow is much less noticeable without HDR. This is what it looks like with HDR on and off.

Here is my screen of windows, diferent shader thought and track to. HDR there on that track youre using is really strong in all ways.

I guesst you to unpack mills track for testing in game dev. It has good lightning to test the reflections and everything on the car.

Shader i use is the "bump cube specular map add specular reflect T1" so you can control the reflections to bit more and the shader youre using had bugs before, not sure if that is fixed now as i didnt test it with latest builds.

Note that im cutting out windows from the black plastic out, it works better now in that way on materials and double sided. I didnt do that before but im doing this on new cars.
