Thanks Tim/ISI... Just wondering, do the templates change when these car updates are made/released? I asked this when the vette update was released as I found a bug on the template after the vette was updated but never got a reply. Do we need to download the templates again when these updates come out?
G'Day Tim, Just to give you some feedback after testing this on my trusty Sebring for a test day I have a massive performance hit, 10-20FPS drop-outs & big stutters whilst being being capped at 40FPS. GPU-Z log shows only a 70% GPU load & my VRAM was only 633mb. No disk, Memory, CPU or temp issues. I also switched off low level AA and backed all settings down to Medium except for player detail however it is still the same. I never had such issues with V1. Cheers mm
I am finding the F2 grippier than previously but the ffb still feels a little odd be it the result of excessive camber or not. Wheel pulls in the direction you turn as opposed to towards centre. (Hope that makes sense)
Something to do with crazy low castor or something. Gosh darn, I saw maybe Tim posting about what the physics guys said about the car, and that it does behave oddly, but I can't remember where
Wow, that's a bitch. So extrapolating from this I can probably expect 1 to 1 and a half FPS when running these at Silverstone.
I was hoping it to change something in suspension geometry to make FFB better, but it didn't. That's probably realistic, but doesn't really make me want to drive this car (including many others). Otherwise car felt very good to me and with some setup adjustments I really could attack the corners.
So you're saying if ISI haven't released a track we should only allow setup adjustments for what we have released? lol Sent from a mobile device using Tapatalk
Probably wont reply much more today. Feeling a bit under the weather. Sent from a mobile device using Tapatalk
Clio is already updated to 1.4x. The F2 was the last item (cars and tracks) to be brought up to that level.
