Is this AA trick possible with amd (using radeonpro)?

BTW i don't like your display setting very much (i mean cockpit, fov, ecc), and i would like to go back to default, can someone please tell me the right values?

My FoV is set to be realistic, altho what I see on screen is less it does help to improve FPS also. It gives you a much better sense of feeling, its also amazing with triplescreen.
I only have a single screen now but use trackir to look around. Sorry I dont remember what default view is.
Its not a trick, its just the benefit of having an nVidia card and nVidia Inspector, and I wouldn't know what you could do with a radeonpro now last one I had was a 5870.

Yeah it's very realistic, the problem is when there is a very slow U turn (and also the wiew is a bit too shaky).

Thanks for the information Bart, very useful.

Just wondered what your views were on the TracKIR?

I've just come across this product and was thinking off adding it to my system to increase realism/immersion.

Is it easy to use and set up? Any drawbacks?

I also use a triple screen set up.

Track ir with triples, hmmm, is it needed? What FOV are you using?

    33 at the moment.

Just wondered if it would make the experience any better.

Not sure what else I can add, was thinking either TrackIR or butt kicker.

    Thanks

I had triple screens with my Trackir and it was an awesome experience, you really feel inside the car when you move your head around. IMHO I would hold of trackir and wait for Occulus Rift. The Trackir can disorientate you in very fast situations but can also help know positions of cars around you. With triples its alot different to use, you dont need to turn your head as much because of the triples, its alot easier.
It definately makes the experience better basically your head is in the game and its a cool feeling.
I havnt tried a butt kicker yet but its on my list.

Thanks for the reply. Think I'll keep an eye out for a used one or hang fire until the Occulus Rift comes out.

    Always 60fps+

Would these settings work with the new stable build?

Yeah they should be good but its possibly better to enhance application settings for Antialiasing - Mode and the Antaliasing - Setting to application controlled.

The ingame AA mode is maybe better and faster now but I havnt tested it in detail or done any measurments.

Cool man, I will try that.

I'm having some nasty fps drops which I have not encountered before, and I can't seem to figure out what is causing it.
The problem is tyre smoke; if I spin 180 on the tarmac and face my own tyre smoke, I get a 50 percent drop in fps. What would be the cause of that I wonder?

I tried lowering special effects, sun occlusion off and a couple of other things. No change.

I have noticed the same drops with tire smoke. I found it to be linked to the Transparency Supersampling AA setting which I previously had at 8X SGSSAA. Try lowering it or disabling it in inspector.

Hello I tested your Post1 parameters with my 670 GTX and the resut is clean I gain some flickering reduction with good FPS.

    Circuit Detail = Full
    Opponent Detail = Full
    Player Detail = Full
    Texture Detail = Full

    Texture Filter = x16
    Special Effects = Full
    Shadows = Max
    Shadow Blur = Optimal
    Movies = Off
    Sun Occlusion = yes
    Rain Drops = yes
    Road Reflections = Full
Environment Reflections = Off (because now in latest build it's visually good without)
Wind and Crowd Motion = no

And in nVidia parameter like yours but with Texture Filtering - Quality : Quality instead of Performance.

I get 45-60 FPS on grid depending the track with 29 IA & 20 visible, and after going between 70 to 100 depending track and car distance. And the visual result is great good with few aliasing.

Than you a lot for your information and tutorial to use nVidia Inspector.

Nvidia is reducing the 780 prices to $500 soon once the 780ti comes out, as a response to the amd R9 290X, damn how much did u pick it up for?
