You mean I cannot host a server with say the 'content' installer?
It is not possible to host a server with default isi content?

I'm sure in previous builds I was able to host without having to make a vmod myself?

 

It doesn't mean anything man.
It's just ta freakin path man, maybe created in 2008. It could also be called "monkey" and it wouldn't make any difference.
The important things are in the folder.

The reason you were able to host default content before was because cars and tracks were bundled together in rfmods.

Recently ISI has separated most of them, still has the FormulaISIr, Skippy and Formula2 to go so you can still host those without making a vmod (albeit with old track versions). FormulaISIr might be a bit tricky as it has dependencies lol.

Unstable mean the game is not finished yet. As all software which is not finished yet is normally mark as unstable until is reach developer quality standard. Maybe the reason in this case is different, but definitely "unstable" don't mean, that the release is in that shape, that you can't normally play it.

 

It's always worked how it works now.

They don't exist at the moment. Jeremy is still creating new installers (demo next). They went away before the sampler (now called content) installer.

Lite installer is also only twice the size, possibly less, larger than a manual update file would be.

 

This is a good opportunity to completely uninstall and reinstall rFactor 2 only with the last components released in recent days and wait for Formula Masters, Formula 2 and Skip Barber... I will no have more trouble with dependencies!

Now, go test new build
