Yes, I think I will pull the trigger on it now, too :) Already love the T5 mod.

Will the mirrors be fixed with the update? Not adjustable at the moment.
Will you use the new helmets or stay with the old ones from ISI?
Looking forward to the update, thanks ales :)

That's great news... Despite the fact that i imagine that it will take very very long to implement the chassis flex.

And that you are also working on at least 2 other mods...

Is the C7.R being released with chassis flex implemented?? It might be a great test platform for it, right?

And what about the PX mod? Are the cars being released with chassis flex too?

    Cheers

Actually implementing chassis flex is very quick job. Refining it might take some time (if you want to go into really deep details) but implementing good base for chassis flex is relatively easy and quick.

Oh, ok!! Better like that!! :D

But taking into account the quality standards followed by URD, its easy to believe that they will want some real data, in order to tweak it to as close to the real thing as possible. And that's why I say that it might take some time...

Is there a way to fix the blue-ish tint on all windscreens / windows in build 880? Any updates I'm missing (last one is from May, I believe)?

    Thanks, Uwe

I think it's the sky reflecting, try and add some clouds and you'll see those too?
It'll probably be fixed in the future I suppose.

Thanks, I have env. reflections off and the glass surfaces have a blue tint even in overcast conditions.

    All the best, Uwe

If you have disabled env. reflections then I'm pretty sure the engine will use a simple chrome-map instead.

Another thing is that automated hdr. I still have to test latest build properly now to see what was changed and how reflections are used.

Edit: so i made quick run under different time of day on silverstone with AM, build 880.
That automated HDR makes windows again really high reflective, that makes the really strong blue tint.
Now, do you guys use more automated HDR or custom ones? The different in this 2 is that i can adjust my cars only to one of those.
While i like this option in rF2 with shaders, some option should be leaved as default allways and locked or we will never be able to adjust our cars for both versions.

Edit again: Done more testing and quick shaders changes, new settings should/will fix the issue in next update. Those shaders im testing are not so affected by HDR settings as the one im using on windows now.

Adjust your cars for utomated HDR, i think is better option in long run and for general use. I mostly use auto HDR, custom ones only when is Tosch involved :)

Automated... I'm usually not bothered with changing back and forth profiles :/

HDR profiles were fun to "play with" for a little while. Then I settled for automation. Personally for me the specifically made profiles aren't worth the hassle.

Please not. Because this is what happens for me wit HDR on at night. If you whould use the automated you could no use the workaround for it.

As an owner of all your cars for rf2 and also the VEC mod with LMP1/2, I would like to enquire whether your new LMP's will have physics with more realistic characteristics and appropriate adjustment ranges and adjustment steps? The new 3D models look very realistic, hopefully the physics will be similarly excellent?

    Fantastic news. Can't wait.

Agree. I think, most people are using the automation HDR.
