please vo ales, watch FPS, ive tried the apex sls, and that hits my FPS to a point that a grid of them, i get 30fps!!. Yours and all iso cars i get solid 60.
So please..

IF so make 2 version hi & med quality. For use with average machines and those with beasts.

Some other stuff, Ales. I noticed that the brakes don't have that red glow effect and that, when the wheels start turning the geometry (LOD?) changes on the wheels. They go from 3D to 2D it seems to me. You can see this quite clearly in one of my Darche videos. It's no big deal to me generally but it becomes one when making slomo scenes in videos.

Thanks Ales, Ethone. I don't want anyone else to suffer FPS penalties, I'll happily repack my own files if I can get the DDS.

EGT changelog:

-New car Ferruccio added,
-Performance tweaks on all cars.(Overall values adjusted, weight, engines, fuel consumption...)
-Bayro should be fixed now as few mentioned it was to slow compared to other cars.
-Reflections adjusted on windows-glass parts, rims.
-Few other textures adjustments to gain bit more fps.
-Fixed position number on motec.
-Added different classes to chose from what to race.
-Added URD infront of cars for component so you find them togethere now when installing.

Cams are not done yet so those will come in future. Sorry about that.
Next update should bring chassis flex and tuning parts that will actually affect the car settings.
In showroom the rear wing when you update to second style it shows both, not a big deal and im aware of it. I think its the name issues that i need to adjust there in future.

If you want to paint Ferrucio with rims that are there, use the car that is available from the choise.

You can use the genstring in veh(GenString=1 as example and than it goes from 1-4) to edit the rim style:
1 is normal old Y style rim silver
2 is new Y silver
3 is new Y dark grey
4 is new Y gold

Red glow is there, need usually some while but might need adjustments in future. For wheels, yes. Going from 3d to 2d is a cost for blur.

 

Those renders look very good. Looking forward to the released version.

Thanks Ales. Guess I'm not braking well enough then. The thing in the middle of the wheel (don't know the English term for it) is disappearing as well. Does that have to do with this blur thing? It ain't moving that much, is it. So no blur is needed on this part and it is the thing that stands out the most or is most obvious to see in slomo. Is there nothing that can be done about it?
