I also found it on the ISI corvette so maybe it has to do with rf2 and not just your mod. It happens when smoke is behind the car doesn't matter what time.

 

That would be cool, seeing as I'm going to that weekend in April!

There's full access to paddock and pit lane during the weekend, I will grab as many reference photos as possible!!

I just purchased the mod and maybe the problem is already mentioned in the 125 pages
The Arthur Merlin sounds superb below 5000 rpm after that it becomes a mixer like a low pass filter and compressor were applied, which ruined the sounds completely and most of the time I am above 5000rpm.
I use a Creative Audigy 4 with Windows 7. I also tried my onboard soundcard, but I have the issue with both.

 

Ales- I'm confused. I have v0.9, the OP says v0.8a is the latest. I downloaded v0.9 before you posted that the new beta would be ready tomorrow.... so is my v0.9 the latest or has it been updated since?

I love the mod. It's a viscerally satisfying experience to drive these beasts- they all drive differently and they all drive like a dream. I love the sounds too.

@Freddy3792 sounds should be on the real thing sofar. Dont think there is anything wrong with youre card.

Check the Mod Manager in rF2 launcher I think.

 

As we have no login on URD website, i wonder how do we download the updates that are released after we buy the mod??

dunno if it was the track or this mod, but not long into a 1 hr race this evening i had the black freeze game screen with this online (annoying as running 3rd at the time)

hud and mirrors and timing all on screen, but the actual 'game' screen (car, track, sky etc) all black and rfactor2 frozen. however task manager said rf2 running.

had it in the practice session too.

 

just noticed that Ales joined SMS team for Project CARS. Congrats Ales !! you deserved this job !! hope this is not gonna slow down too much the mod development

Unfortunately if that's the case i'd very much suspect the mod won't be continued as a conflict of interest. Ales can you confirm what the situation is?

True on that but the mod is beeing continued as planed, nothing around that has been delayed as im not the only one in team and our future projects will continue also.
