Thanks Ales for the good news !
About game crashes, I can tell you that I've got the issue in single player too, with this mod and new Civic BTCC and T5 ones, mostly at Silverstone and Nords.
The only way for me to manage the trouble is to lower AI numbers to less than 18...

This crashes were familiar with nords before. To much of everything hehe.
Aparently there are some other issues on multiplayer that happens with mods but not with latest ISI cars. Ive seen some threads about that but nothing confirmed.

I think so, too. But i don´t understand ISI, because 64 Bit is a standard for gamers. Since the era of the Core2duo every CPU is 64 Bit.

I guess we will need memory patch as we had this for older gmotor games to get up to 4gb so now we need higher.

Going 64-bit would be the ultimate solution - the patch won't work as it is a hardcoded issue ultimately with the memory limit.

Genious :) A full VLN grid won't be a possibility then, like it was with rF1

Come to think of it... Not even 50-55 cars is possible for Le Mans...

4GB can only be used by a 32bit program if it's "Large Address Aware" i.e. the LAA flag is set in the executable. Is that already the case with RF2, because otherwise it's actually 2GB max.

XP support is a poor decision, especially given the potential lifespan of rF2.

People have to upgrade every few years. That's PC gaming.

Yes, thats true. Most people driving rFactor2 have steering wheels and good hardware. So they have good machines, too.

Maybe ISI can create a 64 Bit Version a bit later? It would be nice to have people talking about that with ISI.

XP is / was also as 64bit version available. 64bit support and XP support are two different things.

Chronicles of Riddick, quite old by now, had a 64bit version. Crysis Warhead has. So, few and far between it's been done. For simulators it definitly makes sense.
