Here's a vid of Corvettes at Malaysia, starts off raining then peters out after a couple of laps with just residual offline spray. This isn't even heavy rain, as usual probably best viewed on youtube site.
the HD6970 isn't enough powerful to run rF2 on 3 screens with every thing on Max! With my HD7950 Flex edition I can run every graphic option on max, 5760°1080, with 40-55fps! You should upgrade you GPU!

It seems that auto update start to working, it was successfully on my last try, finally. Now playtime
Jeremy emailed to say he's aware of an auto update issue. Just letting know as I'm out of range in an hour, wanted you to know Sent from a mobile device using Tapatalk
I already had enough rains on road in RL to not be able to see the front of my car and having to stop, waiting for a lighter rain. I can't imagine what is it in an open-wheeler, without a windshield, few dozens of centimeters from the ground, behind large tires in front of you. I did a race in LMP under rain and it was really fun ( you need to know the track like Tim said). I liked the fact you have to not be exactly behind a car to see something. I agree the effect should cool down more quickly (too long regarding distance), but for a first drop, I congrats the team! Scandalous! Like they said in first post! they respected what they said!!! refund!!!!
Aaaaaaaaaand one more in the Clio. It actually doesn't look that bad whilst racing. Just the spray in the cockpit is somehow disturbing. Add rain drops on the windshield and it would look quite good. Of course it needs tweaking but a good start I would say. But it doesn't look good in replays at all. I always was loud for rF2 but that is something I can't really argue. Spray needs tweaking and the replays of course! Driving like I said however is fun but could be much better too. ( the most important part)
Tim, ask those guys to code there on no_rainzone to block all the smoke, spray, gravel and this kinda stuff so we dont get that in cockpits anymore.
