Indianapolis was in the xml but the directory path was just "indianapolis". When i changed the path to "indianapolis500" it worked. I will need to add the other paths for the indy gp 2007 etc to get them to work as well.

    Weather Server 1.2.0.0 available

    - Add Record Live weather to a file, replay weather file.

For example, you schedule recording weather at tomorrow morning at 03:30:00 for 4 hours, because a real race occurs at 16:00:00 (in the track time zone).
As you will drive on this track only the next week-end at 21:00:00 (your time zone), you will replay the recorded weather, so you will have exactly the weather occuring during the real race.

Note: it is even possible the replay a currently recording file (if you start to race before the record end is reached)
Note: As the recorded file is human readable (text file), you can create it or update it manually if needed (like compressed time)

Thats a very nice adition for those who want to replicate real races. It is predictable but it is something that some people will definitely use.

    Hi Gerald

I have updated the xml for indy, there is an issue though, the updated weather works for the first 2 versions of the track (oval and 2007GP but not 2013GP and 2014GP) any idea why that might be? I saved all four under directory path etc.

    did you used "Indianapolis500", "Indianapolis2007Gp", "Indianapolis2013Gp" and "Indianapolis2014Gp" as directory values ?

If yes, please provide me your xml part for indianapolis, and i will made a try.

    Hi Gerald

I have tried adding weather to a newly installed track but basically i have no idea what i am doing or if it is able to be done. When we open the weather tool exe there is a list of installed tracks in the dropdown box under "circuit", magny cours isn't listed so i unticked the "view only installed circuits" check box and then it showed up. I added magny cours to the xml file following your instructions. I collected the weather but when i go to save it it is not in the list of tracks that i can save to. Is this related to the xml file? Do i need to somehow instal the track show it shows up in the "circuit" section? What have i missed?

    Cheers

    Hello,
To appear in the "Installed circuits", the first "directory" element in the XML of your track must exists on disk:
    - The check is on "<gameData path>/UserData/<profile>/Settings/<directory[0]>" directory. The orange elements are taken from your XML. For example, in the screenshot you provided of indianapolis XML, the directory[0] is "Indianapolis500".

    Hi Gerald

Just out of curiosity, what does adding the latitude and longitude do? By putting the location value in doesn't that apply the weather to the track when you put it in the xml?

it is the input value for the website. There is 2 providers (2 websites), one take a code as input and the other take lon/lat.
