My group is using this track as our grand finale for a 10 race series. Las Vegas is the perfect place to end a series!
are shadow objects multiplied when stacked? i'm adding more objects to see if its darker and not noticing a difference.
0.95. fixes non-working flagmen, not sure on yellows though so report please. http://www.phototiming.com/idt/rFactor2/Locations/07lasvegasgp_095.rar
Very nice track (version 0.95). Good work! But the chicane (before the tunnel) is not optimal. I think it's too easy to drive straight over the curbs (with the Megane) without getting a penalty or so. Maybe you can fix that somehow. Or you can give us a layout without this chicane.
I'm not sure there's any way to fix the chicane problem without changing the track. If you make the cut track warning work right there, no one will make race length without penalty. We are using this for my league as our final race, I'm thinking we will make the chicane open as to how you take it. Any way you can make it over, is OK. I just don't see any way to police that area. If barrels or tire stacks were put in the way that'd work- but you sacrifice the realistic look of the track for realistic gameplay so that'd be a track modder's prerogative. Personally I'd rather have tire stacks inside the chicanes to force people to use the chicane (even if the real track didn't have them) or even better- have a tire stacks and a no-tire stacks version of the track like Portugal has.
Remember, this track was made for open wheel cars and the chicane is accurate to what was actually there. Trust me, i walked the track twice and have all the photos. I can easily make a non-chicane version but cars will catch air before the tunnel at speed so crashes in the tunnel will be many. I'm wondering if any of the marshals at all use the correct flags?? I'll do some testing and see so i can copy the one with the correct materials.
But in rF2, tin tops will run this track as much as open wheelers will. Indycar also has full time marshalls to make sure no straight lines the chicane! I'd still like to see a tire stacks version for online racing. Sometimes accuracy has to be sacrificed in small ways to make up for the inherent shortcomings that playing an online game has.

Hello iDTDoug, Yesterday I just wanted to response but did not found any time unfortunately... Sorry! Las Vegas GP, Long Beach and Toronto 2007, are outstanding city courses and have rFactor2 greatly enriched. I'm a big fan of street circuits and Las Vegas is for me one of the best. Thank you very much for your hardwork! driven with B770 64-bit: There are a few objects that have a light pink trim...? A few trees could have more volume... but in fact it is better than real. To Chicane I can only say that is as it should be. Who is thinking how to get through faster (cutting, abbreviate) is a loser and has not understood Simracing with rF2 at all. One problem I have to complain... When I play the replay in the exterior view, I do not hear my race car, but all other cars on the track. Viva Las Vegas! Thanks...
Same audio issue here Doug. Just an FYI When releasing from pit lane on external replay, there is no audio. Slowly the audio creeps in before the bridge but is very low. Indy car was test vehicle. Hope someone can fix this. Nice job on the track buddy
