I have a T500RS and don't have this problem. I think I use kind of standard settings from the T500RS config screen, and never had to touch anything in game or in ini/plr/cfg files of rF2. Do you have a normal behavior in other sims and when you test your wheel in its config in Windows?
Did you remember to press the detect button? If that doesn't work you can change the steering force to -ve in your controller.ini file, this is what I have to do as RF2 detects a virtual controller I've got setup instead of my T500
Thanks for the options guys... I`ve never used Sli for anything so maybe try the fixed wheel just to experiment although having a fixed wheel just sitting there might be a bit off-putting. Worth a try though.
I know what you mean, I drive the C6R with the wheel off and I much prefer it that way. There is a pro race SLI from simracinghardware that looks nice, the full unit for the T500 is around $350 US. The Fanatec F1 wheel is a step in the right direction but I hope they offer a complete SLI display in their next offering. I might go the SRH route now that we have the Marussia but it's a lot of coin.
Sadly it all sounds like a lot of coin and unfortunately, coin I just can`t put out on that stuff atm...
P2 times Malaysia GP Jules Bianchi 1:39.508 Max Chilton 1:41.438 I guess we are there. P2 2012 10th Sebastian Vettel › Red Bull › 1:39.402 11th Pastor Maldonado › Williams › 1:39.444 20th Timo Glock › Marussia › 1:41.681 22th Charles Pic › Marussia › 1:42.874 The Marussia configuration is the end 2012 season car. So we have basically a midfield car of the 2012 season start! Just plying with numbers
haha like your theorie, free practice is not the best comparison I think for instance in P2 it was raining today, but if you update your post after quali (if dry and fi it was as dry last year) I think it would give us an even better comparison Perhaps ISI can share wat Marussia believes the gain was from the spec car they begon in Australia and the spec car of the end of the season, which ISI modelled? I guess they won't share, but would be nice to hear ofcourse because the 2013 car is not the spec car of the end of 2012
Yes it rained but this are still dry times, before it started to rain. But I will update the times for Q too.
true, look forward to your comparison, its the only one we got (Well I am quite lucky, my brother was Timo's engineer of last year so I could ask ik him for my knowledge, I will when he comes back from Malaysia. If he will tell me I can't share it offcourse as this is info which I assume is not for sharing with public, so asking me is not gonna work)
I will ask if it's possible to share, but I am quite certain he doesn't want to and probably because his contract would say he can't, probably not even to family and perhaps he doesn't even share with me. If he says it's ok offcourse I will share Just wanna say don't count on it. Hopefully ISI is able to get the 2013 Marussia also under license which I believe they are gonna try, and if they would design it with the spec of this race, we would have a proper comparison I guess. or ISI should also get the track(s) where this spec (marussia 2012) has driven last year, that would also be welcom for me
The correct implementation is that the DRS shouls not change state according to throttle application, eg the DRS should not close when the throttle is lifted. I can confirm that this is a bug and I will raise it in the bug section.
The implementation is incorrect so it should change. There is no need to find another button, simply tapping the brakes will close the DRS. Once you start to apply the brakes normally the DRS will close for you automatically. The only time you should need to hit the DRS button is when you want the DRS to open/activate.
