I think you're comparing the two different tree textures? You're saying one texture is better than the other because the leaves make a rounder, more natural shape?
That's fair. The more square one was actually from a larger tree, and you can see the leaves are smaller as a result. I have thought about changing it for several years, but now I'll put it on my list. Thanks.

If only ISI would keep their '67 tracks to such a high standard...

In fairness to ISI they've got a lot more tracks to work on and a lot more people to satisfy. I'm doing Longford for myself as much as I am for you guys (fans of historics).
And we're seeing some of their tracks getting updates, so the historics will probably be somewhere on the list

I think for some reason or other ISI just lost mostly interest in the Historics.

I mean, Mills Metro, a fictional circuit of no-real world relevance, to be overhauled before the only 1967 Monaco available in any current race sim? That's just weird priorities.

Same for the Eagle F1 and Indy car which aren't happening, or the amount of delay on the AC427... somehow they don't appear to value the older stuff as interesting for potential buyers.

Well, at least the Brabham got some love.

Ah, Woochoo - you tease! That Cobra looks like it belongs there. And the VW micro-bus ... well, I didn't see Arlo Guthrie standing next to it.

Looks like you have the lighting issues resolved. This is going to be a great update for all of us that love historics. In my college days, I had a professor who used to say "I'll drink no wine before it's time". Somehow that sounds appropriate here - waiting ...

    @GCCRacer - I agree with you 100%.

And just when you say that they release some new Brianza screenshots.

I be very surprised if Eve and Spark are not packaged separate.

P.S. Seems the trend though in all sims, pretty disappointing ProjectCars delaying Historic Tracks and Lotus pack.
Then again I did say the Belgium map looks more like a copy of orginal GPL , needs much work.
Camber in old Monza version looked off too.

    Nothing in AC for 60's , Lotus 49 has a Monza'66.
Quite frankly reminds more of resurfaced 1970s but wrong layout, doesn't have that rougher 60s feel and look to it.

Same as pCars, Parabolica and Lesmos cambers are too flat for mine.

Please no non no ( hides head ) lol

    Don't start on the trees..........

    Trust me !

    lmao >>> woo ........ ;)

I would say try any sim where you drive within a few feet of any tree or leaves.

Drive into Belgium paddocks park under them , they don't look pretty that close.

Catch a pCars or AC leaf in extreme foreground they can look horrendous. ;)

My hope is once the top historic convertors/modders have run out of AC stuff to do they will find beauty in RF2. hehehe ;)

As it happens, those plane trees right next to the road have the same resolution as the bigger trees (1024 high, except for the pine at the last corner, which has more).
They're close by and right in they eye line, so i had to do it :)

haha, tell me about it. Literally, I've done about 60mins work on it since the last post. Those 60mins were last night.
I plan to put much more than 60mins into it today :)

I sit here with a morning coffee and I'm please to say that the next version of Longford is pretty much done, besides final testing.
It could still be a few days away, but it is coming :D
