First a big "thank you" to feels3 for this famous track. It is really nice to see how he improves his technique track by track. Can't even imagine what we will see from him in two years. This time I made three profiles because I tried some different things with the lightning. PoznanV4 is some kind of standard profile. With PoznanV6gamma I tried to give the track a desaturated look. I reduced the direct sunlight and increased the Gamma (2.3). PoznanV9contrast is the opposite. The Gamma is reduced and there is a huge difference between direct and indirect light, which results in dark shadows and saturated colors. As always all profiles have a reduced autoexposure. (Better visibility from cockpit view in tintops) Tweaked lightning for sunrise, sunset. All profiles have some bloom for the brightest objects. Thank you! Looks great. Is HDR profiles somehow locked to certain tracks? I mean, is it not possible to have the same profiles for all tracks? I don't know anything about this. Only curiousity
In a perfect worl... lightning engine there should be only one hdr profile. The changes in the lightning should be adjusted by the weather engine. But the engine is not perfect now. There are some bugs that I try to fix with my track specific hdr profiles (like the sun shining through the ground, over exposed cockpit view). The hdr profile itself is not locked to a specific track, but my profiles are adjusted to the time of sunrise and sunset. These times are different for each track (geografic location, date of the race) and the results can be sometimes strange.
Do i need to do anything ingame? (tick a box etc..) Just paste them into the folder and thats it? EDIT: Ah okay i see the option for HDR profiles in menu.
