Talks about rFactor 3 are extremely super absurdly ludicrously moronic, seriously.

Thinking that those posts were serious is extremely super absurdly ludicrously moronic, seriously.

I would be really surprised if rF3 ever gets made. ISI doesn't seem to be on a trajectory to make such a title.

rF1 had stability issues for quite a while as well, and in the end never had rain despite I think widespread expectation that it would. Not that I'm saying adding new features requires instability, but the more you put in the more chance you have of encountering problems for sure.

I don't think ISI as a team are working on it. 1 guy is helping with it, or something like that.

Juliano left to work solely on the space game from my understanding, hence Luc referencing the cross over transition with Tuttle.

This is worthy of a seperate discussion by itself, but it sure is bad timing to release a space sim with the *massive* hype Star Citizen is getting.

Although, I'm not entirely sure Star Citizen isnt vaporware :p

Don't forget Elite: Dangerous as well. I don't think SC is vaporware, but quite likely VERY slow development. What I've seen from that game is just a toilet in the back of a ship.

If anything its the best time to release one, RogSys offers something completely different to SC (think RF2 vs GRID) but gets to use the hype SC and ED etc have created for space games to help sell.

Well i think relation between mentioned two racing games and mentioned two space games is not quite right. We can judge rf2 and grid, because both is racing games and more than racing we can not get, so we judge by the only most important things like driveability, physics FFB and decide which one we prefer. In Space games there is a lot of more things that can be at least as important as pure physics mechanism. Can be story, music, animations, immersion in the end how the game feel. How much imagination is producing in us. Maybe we can look that way, because mostly of us have no contact with real spaceship and our thinking about universe is more
imagination in our brains. So we are not so much connected with pure realism in Space games, as we connected with pure realism in racing games.

Thanks for your answer. Mmmm, I still can't found in a thread or in my head why I was 100% sure you will not go this time through the unstable release...Shame on me, sorry about that.
