Is there anyway to turn off the unrealistic shaking of the screen everytime my car goes over a bump on track? Canada is crazy !! I was able to turn this off in Rfactor in the playerini file... but no luck with Rfactor 2. Help Please !!
Unfortunatly those are the values I set to zero first with no luck at all. When driving... any bump or curb I touch sends the whole horizon bouncing. It like the horizon or view is moving with the suspention. It get very anoying on bumpyer courses like Montreal Canada. Especially in the hairpin.. there's a significant bump you hit while going through there and the whole grandstand jumps and bounces with the suspention... weird for sure. A little movement is to be expected but not this bad... come on now.
You could try the Real Head Motion plugin: http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/3743-Real-Head-Motion-Plugin-1-0
Have you tried to set all these values to 0.00001? If you can't turn them off, turn them so low you won't notice.
Don't try to edit the file with rFactor running, thinking that the next time you start it will work. Make sure rFactor is not running when you edit and save the file. I suspect that when you close rFactor, it undoes any changes you've made the .ini file by saving over them. Could be wrong, can anyone confirm?
And the dog's, er, danglies. I suspect vBulletin won't allow the less polite version, "It's the dog's b0ll0cks". +1 for Real Head Motion, without it I get Real Motion Sickness.
I'm glad I stopped in on this thread. I just tried the plugin, and yep, it's as good as you guys make it sound. I watched the video first, and I didn't think I'd like the way the car tilts in the screen when hitting bumpers, but it didn't bother me at all. It made getting around Portugal in the Vette a lot easier. Nice. I recommend also.
