Internal Plugin Wishlist : Build 146 : The Latest List

    I have gone through the forum and tried to compile a master list of the Internal Plugin wishlists so that it is easier for all the requirements to be in a single thread for the build.

    Please make the additional information available via the Internals Plugin

    Please make all the available engine and chassis parameters available via the Internal Plugin interface. For example, with the new turbo engine changes the following should be available :

    Turbo speed
    Barometric pressure
    Exhaust Gas Temperature
    Boost Pressure
    Air Intake Temperature
    Lambda (per cylinder or bank)
    WasteGate position

    In addiiton any other engine parameters that are used in the model would be appreciated especially :

    Current Torque demand
    Current Torque available
    Current Friction torque
    Fuel Consumption
    Fuel Density
    Engine Map Setting
    Engine Inertia

    Additional chassis parameters appreciated include :

    Diff demand pressure
    Tyre radius for current vehicle - required to convert wheel rotation to wheel speed
    Driveshaft torque per driveshaft
    Wheelbase - required for Maths Channels

    Additional session parameters requested :

    The time in the scoring data is session elapsed time, please add a new param with the current time of day.

    For the VehicleScoringInfoV01 :

    Please fix the bug in mInPits so that it refects the pit state accurately. It really messes up my Wheel of Doom....

    Please let me know if any more detail is required, and please feel free to add to this list.

    UpdateScoring

    1) Fix delayed start. Only starts firing 20 seconds after the session has started (not sure if the first one or all sessions). This was not the case in rFactor 1, should start immediately after session start

    2) Add current mod (series) Name (e.g. Formula Renault 3.5) and version (e.g. 1.2).

    3) Add additional info about each vehicle from telemetry - Remaining Fuel, Tyre Compound, Tyre State (0-100%), Engine and Oil Temperatures (if you're worried about this being sensitive info, just enable it on dedicated server instance)

    4) Add Track Layout name

    5) Fix yellow sectors. Currently it's always reporting all sectors as yellow even if in reality there is no yellow sector


    SetEnvironment

    - File name of the currently active mod manifest file (from /Manifests folder).


    This would allow us doing better livetiming e.g.

    The list is still valid (and updated) for build 198. Is it possible to change the thread title to update it to 198?

    +1 for getting rid of the plug-in delay

    It greatly reducing it to say max 5 seconds

    Still can't believe that the ISI dev's decided this was acceptable

    +1 for reducing this delay. if it's because ISI prefer to delay a little this to prevent any problem, please bring this time if it's possible to a lower value. I'l be thankful! :)

    I can confirm that with build 198 this works correctly.

    posted in other thread...tire info available to get the tire compound to get this info in hotlaps

    It would be nice if other info was available from the sim like status of headlights and oil pressure to name the first two off the top of my head. Basically anything that could be used with a hardware dashboard.
    Could the green lights at the start of the race be held back till the plugins initialize?

    Possible to get the mFront/RearTireCompoundindex values inside VehicleScoringInfo?

    With setting (multiplayer.ini)

    Pause While Zero Players="1"

    after the game starts (without anyone connected), we don't get any 'UpdateScoring' calls. All the info about current session is delivered via this call, which means we don't know what session/server started until a human player actually joins the game.

    Can you change this so we at least get 1 call of 'UpdateScoring' so we can report on what server (track, mod, etc..) is actually running.
