When i see dust from the car in front of me - i become fps drops to. It goes down from 60 (vsync) to 45-55, but 1-2 fps - never see this. Pls post your ingame graphic settings. Whats your system specs? (You can fill out here in the forum, MyProfile/AboutMe and its visible for everybody) I will try this track later today.

Edit: Tested with 29 ki's and i've get the normal "problems" with many ki's: fps goes down at start and after start i've my normal 60 fps.

I've updated my profile with my system specs.

The fps drop occurs as soon as the lights go out and dust gets kicked up from the cars ahead of me.

Then I can race around the lap with a solid 60 fps.

As soon as I come back into the town, on the bricks, the dust then causes the frames to frop to 1 or 2 fps.

    here are my rF2 settings:

Interesting. I also. Never heard about before rFactor. I think it's fictional.

Sry hexa, now i see what you mean :) I have exactly the same problems. The bad thing is the dust on the bricks - it kills the performance..

I hope Mario can fix this. In real life i've never see dust on bricks and the grip on bricks is bad ok, but not so much slippy.

I really enjoy the grip change between road and bricks at Lienz, it feel real (IMO). I like the dust here, probably exaggerated I agree, my fps goes down too. We have a new settings for particles I didn't play yet with (at Max for now). Anyway, the fps going down here is not enough down to make me change this settings. I probably go under my capped 60fps at that point, but not that much...

Lolo grip change is ok, but not so much, it's like driving on ice.

Mario, I just tested the new version and saw we still have a problem you're probably not aware of. Several third party tracks are impacted with white flashing textures. At Lienz it's about nearly all panels like you can see here:

    View attachment 11475

I created this thread to talk about it: http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.p...flashing-to-white-depending-camera-and-angles

Jorgen on post #10 seems to understand where the issue come from.

I'm not saying you need to fix something, honestly I'm not sure to understand if the problem need to be fixed on track side, or on ISI Build side. I just wanted to let you know.

Again, thanks for this amazing track! :)

The dust problem is cleared up, thanks for the fix! There is a problem with lighting though. The headlights don't illuminate anything once you leave pit lane. Lights are on the the game will DQ you if they are off, but they don't show up while you are driving. This was a problem from before the fix for dust. It's not a deal breaker, but it does limit racing here to the hours of daylight.

thanks, mario! just had a very fun test with T280s here and, of course every vehicle is fun at Lienz. Thanks again for this is and all you do to help modders also.

P.S. Just curious. Any plans to 'fix' mountain forest?

No plans, just faith. If it can move an entire one, fixing is not a big deal.
