As i put the Lola T280 beta mod in the packages, i`ve got the message: "unable to install". Any idea to fix the problem. Thank you for any help.
You probably miss some of the tracks or maybe you have a earlier build? Readme notes tells you exactly wich tracks you need. If you already got them, you can read in the "advanced" why mod is failing
Maybe you did not noticed this: "IMPORTANT: you need to have installed the 6 following tracks Monza66, monaco66, spa66, croft 0.91, vlm sebring and mid ohio" I know its stupid, but thats the deal for now.
Thank you guys for your answer. I have the newest build installed and all the 6 tracks that we needed, but if i rightklick the Lola T280 mod, i`ve got only the properties to look at.
I think if you look at the properties it will tell you why it can't be installed (what is missing etc..)
That`s the solution. I looked at advanced and i see that i had only v.190 instead of v 1.91 of Mid Ohio installed. After installation of v1.91 of the track i was able to install the Lola T280. Thank you mates for your help! See you.
Cannot install Lola T280 because montecarlo66 isn't installed I cannot install the Lola T280, because in the mod's advanced properties tab it says that monaco66 isn't installed when in fact it is; i have rF2 updated to the latest build, and have all the required tracks installed. I made some printscreens to illustrate my problem. View attachment 5401 View attachment 5402 View attachment 5403
This car is just awesome I wish so much ISI would learn something from the modding community about proper car physics. I see it just like rF1 where the best cars will come from the modding community not ISI. Don't get me wrong ISI's cars are better in rF2 than rF1 but I think the cars from the modding community are a little better polished Edit: Upon further review the testing I did @ Brianza with this car was great with it's fast sweeping turns on a tighter track I think there is a definate lack of grip from the historic tire compound. I maybe thought that ISI has always leaned toward more snap-oversteer but I also feel that with some tire compounds grip levels could be increased some. I understand that the real hard core simmers may like the snap-oversteer and slidey tires for a more hard core experience but if it were real life and my crew chief tried to put me in some of these cars I would punch him in the mouth for trying to kill me out on the track. I would like to see some realistic resistance to a slide as it is with some cars there is not enough counter resistance in this area.
