Race Broadcast: http://www.twitch.tv/theracingconcept/b/342712884 Thanks to ARI / sr4l.com for server hosting! After the previous thread that I put out regarding this I got a good response and so I have created a seperate thread for you guys to sign up in so that it is easier to keep track of what is happening. What is it? The Renault Megane Trophy Endurance Race is a 3 hour endurance event that will be livestreamed on my website's Twitch TV channel complete with commentary. The event will be taking place at Mills Metro Park Inner Loop C. Anyone is welcome to join the event if they are an avid endurance racer, I don't see many of these around so it would be great if we could get a healthy grid. We have 27 slots available with 3 slots on the server reserved for our commentators to join and watch. We will be using the latest build (118) when running this event. Anyone that has a decent internet connection capable of sustaining 30 players we would be grateful if you could provide hosting for this event. When is it? The event will take place on TODAY, Saturday 24th November @ 9PM GMT (4PM EST). Event Rules/Server Settings: Renault Megane Trophy Endurance Event Qualifying: 15 minutes (unlimited laps) Race: 3 hours (x2 time scale) All driving aids will be available to use apart from Steering Help, Braking Help, Invulnerability, Auto Pit Stop, Opposite Lock, Spin Recovery and obviously AI Toggle. Paul Ceglia FYI Im expecting a baby on Dec. 2nd so she could pop early if not count me in . This will be my first race of this length so im looking forward to it.
I'm signing in, I want to try something different (easy car to drive, easy track to learn) can be a great endurance race. gorgias1976 (Gorka Santisteban)
Sounds good, fingers crossed I should be able to make this. Forum name Knight of Redemption Real name Paul Wickham.
Great Paul, you too. I've never done such a long distance race (except for the old days when I raced Papyrus Indy Car Racing 1 ). It must be incredible fun and demanding if we come to be more than 10 drivers out there.
By the way, I'd remove all helps (except for auto-clutch for the people who don't have it). traction control and abs OFF, so you can make mistakes as time goes by and start to feel tired.
I dunno, not a huge fan of Driving Aids myself, although for better accessibility and a wider range of people who might want to take part, i would say keep auto clutch, TC and ABS allowed. I would rather have more cars on track than driving aids banned
