gniewko: What did u do in photoshop to achieve that second picture result? Looks much better then the cartoony colors that is default in rf2.
Yes it does In the meantime I can recommend C6R with Putnam Park - that should teach everyone to drive this car properly smooth.
There is a mess with vertex paint, I use it on lot of objects, not only grass, I have even baked ambient occlusion into vertex for some objects. I can try to rework this stuff but I have no guaranty that it will gonna looks fine with next build.
Stupid question feels, but have you contacted ISI regarding possible upcoming changes or areas where they will definitely change stuff? On the one hand, i appreciate it big time you are already producing high quality content without rF2 beeing finished, but on the other hand i would personally find it quite annoying to work stuff over and over with every build (which is a given in development and can't be avoided). Perhaps there is a chance we can reach some middle ground and people with very good inside knowledge of rF2 outside of ISI have a way of communication with the ISI devs. Collaboration is a good thing in that department, but it should be kept mostly private and only finalised information should be made available to the general public to avoid endless (and sometimes pointless) discussions. Some kind of "associated modder" status or whatever it is called would be nice for the time we still encounter severe changes between builds.... Well, long post, but the last thing we need now is high level modding people like you quitting or going on hiatus because of these changes - just my humble opinion...
@lbird Sometimes Luc helps me if I have some problem with tracks, but this is all my contact with ISI stuff. Starting modding during beta period was my conscious decision, so I'm not angry, frustrated or disapointed. Yes, I would like to see rf2 more mature and more polished and stable, but my last year definetly wasn't a wasted time. Actually, I'm very happy that I decided to start making a tracks. Over one year ago I didn't thought that I'll be here in that place. I remember exactly my first email to K Szczech, it was a bit longer, but in general it sounded like this "I would like to do a track for rf, what should I do?" . During the last year I met a lot of interesting people and I had a lot of fun with track making and I gained a lot of experience, so don't worry, I'm not leaving anywhere and it looks that I'll stay with track creation for a while ...and few words about Poznan. Unfortunatly I have to wait for next sim update. In the meantime I'll try to improve track. For example, one of new stuff which I'm working on is 3d crowd
