Ask all you want, but it doesn't change a simple fact: Interlagos is next Following Interlagos you may expect that community fantasy track feels3 was planning. At lesat that's what I would bet on. And then - who knows? All I know is feels3 would really like to create modern Spa, but I'm just sayin'...
Iracing made a few days ago a great Interlagos track - just great http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J26nFVmCe_A
would like to add my few cents about how I believe, things would look a little better, dunno if it's possible in rf2, but what do you guys think?
I think the warm hue is a limitation of the rF2 engine atm mate, i think we would all like to see that changed, not sure if it's possible right now. Whites suffer alot because of it, they look pink/browny. K Szczech will know more i expect and will give you a better answer It's odd rF1 had a blue/cool tint.
Road is too bright on that second screenshot. It doesn't look like that in Poznan. Apart from that I'm also for a bit cooler colors, but lighting colors are not posiible to change by artist at the moment.
The road color depends much on actual lighting of the day, so I tried to adapt it to actual lighting, well I must say it looks more or less like this in such conditions and under more or less this angle:
I would also like to point a few things out, and was wondering if it is in the track creator's hands, please take a look at these shadows:
I'm not talking about appearance, but color of asphalt. Your photo was shot facing the Sun and road's appearance is bright due to strong reflection. This doesn't mean road itself is so bright. To some degree, yes. Modder can make shadows a bit more intense by setting shadow diffusion to 0.0, which I recommend. To get even higher contrast, one will have to increase disproportion between S-lum and T-lum, but they're directly related to sky appearance, but not in an accurate way. In my opinion, ambient lighting in rF2 is too strong comparing to sky brightness, so if you want darker shadows you will end up with dark blue sky aswell. One could play with air mass setting a bit, but I've never managed to get the lighting and sky looking the way I believe it should look.
I thought it was until I read the post. I still think ISI should employ feels3 as a consultant. As someone who has done laps on a proper circuit, I can tell you that his tracks look as 'lifelike' as they come. When I look out the cockpit onto the tarmac at his Croft circuit, I am instantly transported back to that time.
Sound is out of sync in some places on track. Was that just as a result of the editing or did they release it like that?
C6R already tested at Poznan - works fine But track is not ready yet. I'm waiting for new sim update, I want to be sure that everything work fine on new build.
