Once of the first builds introduced automatic shaders recompilation triggered by resolution change. maybe it is valid for or properties like hdr. However any update process should clear shaders cache automatically to avoid issues. It is easier to achieve than directing customers to do this on their own.
Yeh it would be handy if this was done automatically but it`s good to know that at least it can be done, for now, manually.
In the same way. I suppose there is only one shader cache (for all shaders including custom ones). Cleaning the cache will force game to recompile all shaders when loading the first track. To be clear: we are talking about cache, not source files. Updates should not remove custom shaders But updater may do that to simplify some processes especialy on beta stage. Then installing such shaders again may be needed.
Just speculating, but that might be why you guys don't want the shaders to be updated in updates, we would overwrite any custom filters currently...
Problem with the new build for me is that I can't view ANY of the previous replays. It simply crashes to desktop when it's done loading the replay. Also when spectating the other cars in an online race, the tyres don't turn when it's going round a corner and the steering wheel is static when viewing in cockpit view.
If by "previous" replays you mean replays from b101 (or earlier builds) then I don`t think that works... B101 replays cannot be viewed in b107 afaik. (Please correct me if I`m wrong on that Tim...)
Well if that is the case then that kinda sucks And what about the steering wheel being static in cockpit view when viewing other players online? It used to move in the previous build.
If I select; I get; Then these 2; Give me; Mills is the only track I have this issue with, I hope the screenshots provided help.
They did, thanks. Can anybody else confirm they have this? If not, it might be worthwhile for you, fireguard1, to uninstall and reinstall the mods you have.
All I'd suggest on that without the info is fo ryou to try uninstalling and reinstalling those mods, I didn't answer because I don't have any info on it (didn't see anybody report anything like it, and I don't know if the devs intended it to be that way at the moment, either).
Ok, nice to have a confirmation, thanks. Did either of you freshly install, or update? And if you have refreshed your mods, did that affect it?
