I bought it last week and i must say that i love it so far!
I could not manage to find a good place for my phone yet, it lack of stability but the soft is very nice!
I just hope we'll have the racing flag icon in a future version and laps/time remaining too
And why not voice recognition or beeing able to use our steering wheel button to pass through the different screens

I have contacted the creator of this plugin and I made this wishes :
1-The possibility to use more deviced at the same moment like in iRacing(I have a tablet and i-phone 4s)so I would like to use both of them in rF2.
    2- flag implemention.
    3-Sefty-car presence implemention.
    4-Damage warn implementation
and another things and he answered to me saying that he will try to implement all this thing in the future!

Just got this app on android and its pretty cool running on my galaxy note. I just have it mounted with my in car windscreen mount in front of the wheel. It could do with some more fine tuning and Id like to see a motec stlye dash skin for it.

Hi there mcopas. Remember that once you have set the port on your phone, you also need to edit the .ini file that came with Dashmeter pro to reflect the same port. Then just make sure your Antivirus/Firewall allows it. Also you need to have C++2010 RD installed.

    Hope this helps.

Ran into problems with the Phone on my wheel, mainly that it was hard to keep charged when racing (battery drains real quick with Wi-Fi and this plugin working) and that sometimes on full lock it'd get in the way! Also the main reason was it was'nt directly in my line of sight meaning I had to keep looking down which became distracting and hard to do on small twisty circuits.

So I found a bit of wood and screwed it to the back of my steering section, just one screw so I can rotate the whole piece out of sight when using the PC for things other than racing then rotate it back to its position as seen in the pic below.
Works perfectly and now directly in my line of sight.

Before purchasing iHud I looked for this on the iPhone, their website does no indicate it is available for Apple products.

Access it from your Andriod device

Been using this for some weeks, also asked for colour coded tire wear indication. Run it on my Galaxy Tab mounted behind my wheel all helps with the immersion not having all that stuff on screen.

That's exactly why I love the iHud. I don't have to take my hands off of the wheel to cycle thru displays during a race. Pick exactly what info. you feel is necessary to view at all times and you don't have to worry about it during the race. Bonus!
