Paul Di Resta in practice at Monza today or yesterday. They put a thermal camera on his car and it shows the tires heating and cooling. Would be interesting if something like this could be implemented into the replay function of rF2.

Its just astonishing to me what we've been able to achieve with the resources of the earth. To be able to basically take dirt and found materials and then make a space ship out of them. It's simply unbelievable.

That's a very generalised view of the process lol, but yeah your absolutely right and it is extremely impressive what we can build with our ever expanding understandings in material science but lets not forget that constitutes only a fraction towards the bigger picture of contributes that make such engineering marvels possible....that can all be retraced to some of the first fundamental discoveries in mathematics (lending itself to all the sciences...and even the arts) such as trigonometry by the Greeks and the first discovery of alloying metals back in the bronze age.

You could say the space shuttle has been in the development for the last 8+ millenniums. :D
