I have a decent rig, but my internet isn't great right now (hoping to upgrade in a few months to Fibe internet) but the biggest problem is a complete lack of time. :(

I have no idea what happened to me in this race... I was joining in warm up and started from 20th or something. Big chaos in eau rouge and I moved up to 6th (!!!). I took three more positions until making a mistake and was about to have a fight with my brother for 4th place. Then just when I crossed finish line to complete lap 2 or 3 and I was suddenly in the pits again? When I was about to cross finish line the screen became thinner with black frame (like when watching instant replay) and I was DQ.

Maybe there is a explaination for this but very strange I think

Bad luck hedlund! You had good race coming..

True :D Im glad I was wrong!

Still 11 players behind you! It's not that bad.

Thanks again to everyone who joined racing :) I had amazing time at my monza and spa servers! So much funny people who made my laugh and very good drivers! I will host "25 laps monaco" in future :) Or maybe ISI makes new historic track! I promised prizes for winners, so Keikei and Piortekpeer should give their address to me! Send PM!!

Put pedal to the metal! ;) Yesterday my personal best was 1:37 so with little practice and setup improvements was able to cut down 5 seconds. That's how the Spa is.

By the way Grand Prix Legends had similar "tight" starting grid when it first came out. Can't remember who did what but it was soon changed so vehicles were not so close to each other. It maybe realistic to have such a tight grid if you look how it was back in the 60's but c'mon... it's pure madness in simracing! :) I think ISI should at least reconsider to loosen it up a bit or make an option for user to choose. Or maybe it's defined in track data but anyhow would be good thing if server admin could choose a desired grid from few alternatives.

And someone should fix those damn barbed wire fences! Can't remember how many times i've had to quit because one of the tires gets caught onto those. :)

Yeah KeiKei, it's a shame that you found my spun car in the middle of the track, it was shaping up to be a good battle with the 3 of us that managed to get through the 1st corner in one piece. I'm sure that hay bile 1/2 lap into the race was not there in practice lol.
Drove a loan race in 2nd, only cars I saw were those stuck in pens or stuck in fences with the horses lol.
Was funny at the end with VittoriO :D
    Thanks for hosting Postipate.

Yes it could have been a good race. From 21 to 3 in one lap :p But I was tired and had not completed a single lap before race start. I probably had crashed out of track anyway!

But thanks for the 2 fun races. I hope for more events like this in the future :)

I just watched replay! your start was amazing :)

About your bug, I remember that I had very weird slow down with my game same time when you got DQ. So something strange happend that moment.

Ot: I found great website: http://f1pulse.com/racecard/Belgian_Grand_Prix_1966/3B3E3C/race_card_qualify.aspx
Real qualifying results from 1966! Jack Brabham made 3.41.8 with Bt19.
Next year Jack made 3.35 with bt24.

Haha yes somehow it went well for me. But first I was sure there was formation lap so I just roll down the hill carefully until I saw a big cloud of smoke and flying cars at eau rouge :D Then I understood there was no formation lap... But somehow this mistake was the winning way!

Thank you for the race footage! But too many crashes. I think we all need to take it a bit easier :)

About Jack Brabham qualifying time, it's incredible improvement from 1966 and 1967. 6 Seconds!

Unluckily took a wrong side to avoid the crash. :) Yeah it was going to be a great battle between the three of us but better luck next time. BTW I made a little mistake at start while looking around but maybe it was a good thing so we didn't rush into Eau Rouge 3-wide.

Great video! It's amazing how I was able to walk away uninjured from crashing into the front of the ambulance helmet ahead. :)

BIG thanks to Postipate for organizing these races! I think the first race at Monza was the single best racing experience I've ever had. I have always hoped for changing track and weather conditions and finally my dreams are coming true thanks to rF2. It was so much fun trying to adapt to the continuously changing weather conditions. Accelerating out of completely wet Curva Parabolica with dry weather tires was extremely difficult! But at the same time extremely satisfying! :)

I tested rolling start with deak1944 and 10 AI. I think it could make starts little bit safer. And there is option "skip formation lap" too! It's not so realistic, but anything is better than 15 players stuck in first corner..
