Some noob questions:
I have to config in my game ptions this servers settings or is automatically?
There is a kind of penalty rules for non sportsman like behaviour in rf2? Because with damage at 0% i predict that will be a lot of GTA drivers and i out of weapon and ammo
It will be reestart race if a lot of mess happens on the start?

You dont need to config anything! There is no penalty in rf2 yet, but I will give penalty after the race if needed. If we will see big mess, then we will restart.

 

I agree with the damage t hing, I would atleast put it on 50% so it's still very forgiving.

 

Stupid question, what is the name of the server?

I could set it to 50%, I was just fearing that noone will survive when rain comes..

 

I understand that if i want i can put fuel to all 25 laps, but if the weather is sripted and start raining, can i change tyres and refueling on my pit stop?
Its possible to tell to the pit crew during race to change tyres and amount of fuel or i have to do my strategy before the race without changes?

You can do that! First you need to find button "request pit stop". Then box will appear at the right corner and you can set fuel and tyres with arrow key. Hard to explain try it yourself! You can enter pit when "pit crew is ready" message comes to chat box

Yes of cousre, although i stand no chance of winning your ultimate prize.

 

It's an interesting event. I've prepared a quick setup for the car in case I can take part in the race, as at the moment I don't know the plans at home.

 

I can send a group email to ARI member to try and gather some more interest if you like?

On settings:
There is no Tyre wear at the moment in rf2. At a guess with out testing 25 laps would force a change of Tyre's. That means the Pit Bug could factor it's self in which is random will shut down rf2's exe.
The safety car can be an issue too as we have found out. If unpracticed in a group it could spoil races and is also bugged. A safe option is Black flag rules in my opinion.

I will try to make it but I'm not sure I home in time.

 

Thanks for organizing this event! I'd love to join in, but I'm headed to Frankfurt early tomorrow and will probably be asleep by the time the race starts. I might be able to join praccy for a few laps, though.

I always forget about the tyre wear and keep driving in our ARI races looking after the tyres....

The wear indicator works, but I have never tried to see what happens when the indicator reaches its end, will the tyres suddenly destroy?

 

Tyre wear is set to normal with no other option atm, maybe next build. I've tested it a few times but you would need to test it yourself. I was getting around 21 laps or so before they fall off the wall.

PS: there's a bug with Brianza and CCH entries, your laps may end up in the 10k layout. In this case, just open the CCH file in a text editor and manually transfer the class record line to the correct layout.
