    Why cannot all the downloads be placed in one thread. Having to search for them makes this game ardous instead of enjoyable.

    E.G. Does anyone know where

    Sears Point 1.3 is? Using the 'search' is useless. ISI please tidy this up eh?

    Well nice way of putting things... not!

    Bold is taken to mean shouting too so maybe just plain text would do eh?

    And this is exactly how it works just now..:)

    A unique thread for all ISI official contents;

    http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/1396-Downloads

    A unique subforum for all non-ISI (MODS) contents (WIP and RELEASE);

    http://isiforums.net/f/forumdisplay.php/67-Mod-announcements-testing

    And this is SearsPoint by Mianiac, under the same subforum.

    http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/3868-Searspoint-Track-vmod-update-packaging-Test-Release

    Cheers...;)

    Not enough i'm afraid. You must go and face a corner of a room and repeat to yourself 5 times. rFactor2's Brabham is amazing

    That track and content is nothing to do with us, why would we be doing that, exactly? The community is responsible for what the community does, and we aren't here to babysit it. :)

    rFactor Central really helped rFactor modding take off and rFactor 2 really could do with something like it. It was the place you could get all the tracks and mods you needed and also knew what was up and coming. Shame it got taken over :(

    rF2 seems very hard to get started with all the mods, virtual mods and tracks. More complex than rFactor ever was and I worry because of this that people will simply be put off by rFactor 2.

    I still have the original download, and I see that the newer one is 90. If I do the download for the full installer, do I have to download all the cars again and load them in as well?
    Just asking as my download speed is terrible here, had to leave it on all last night just for the full installer.

    You just have to download the updates. So for example if you have 1.0 of a Formula Renault then you need to download updates 1.1 and 1.2

    I don't agree, I think it is less complex.

    Add on track you download and copy and paste either way.

    You have all cars, tracks and mods in one folder that you can archive anywhere.
    Mods you have no mismatches.

    I am sure by release time GET MOD will improve and hopefully include tracks.

    As for one download why doesn't someone keep a ALL in ONE torrent up to date. ?
    Then you can just pick only the content you need..........:rolleyes:

    It's because ISI needs this stuff tested. It will be easier once the game is released but they need us to test this stuff. Now it's like installing rFactor Lite and then getting all the ISI content seperately and install it. If you compare it like this, the new mod system looks more comfortable.
    I prefer the new system over the old one. Maybe it's not really easier to install a mod but removing a mod in rF1 was pure pain. You had to know which files are related to the mod so you can remove them all manually. Now it's just one click and the mod is gone. Making updates also easier and it's just cleaner than the old one. I don't know how many times I had to completely remove and reinstall a rF1 install just because I updated one component of it.

    I think ISI is just doning that TESTING Once rF2 goes gold I'm sure the UI will be very user friendly. Till then things WILL be tough. But testing the system is what they are doing. The GET MOD button works very well IMHO

    all in all, you must be around forum averyday to understand whats happening, so g7usl is right imo.
    If I leave for a week, Ill have to get into countless posts to get into servers and this is what happened to him, as I happen to know him.

    No you arent, but as so many problems persist, you should find a clear way of making things solved.
    A thread of clear and simple instructions would make no harm? Also a thinktank of more usefull way of making/using mods?

    If in gold, things will get more simple, then ok, but is this the case?

    regards, nikos
