Can you please assign a new class name for these cars? Your lap times are getting mixed up on rF2 Rank with the "classic" f3s, and with your cars being a lot faster, naturally this leads to some confusion. Thanks in advance, Uwe
First of all, let me say that, I'm sorry for any problems these fantastically fun to drive cars have become. I did not make these cars, nor do I know how to change their class. I have asked the makers to do that in the past for other reasons and it hasn't come to pass. I know absolutely nothing about the rF2 Rank, and this the first time it has been brought to my attention that these cars have been or have become a problem... Is there any way you or I can eliminate my server from the "rf2 rank"? If you or anyone else would like to change the 'class' of these cars, that would be fine by me and I actually would consider it a favor. Hope this helps, Bryan

Howdy Race Fans! Last week was a mess... or mayby two messes. LOL! First let me apologize for the chaos that was last weeks "race"... or should I say.. "races". I was called out to attend a wedding without a lot of notice. Turned out that there were two races being held under the name "F3_Fanatics!" Hope you all had fun. : ) Tomorrow night, May 15/16 we have race number 5 at Lime Rock Park, with no chicanes. Starting at 4:00PM Arizona time on the F3_Fanatics' server. There will be some changes; I think my friend, Nikos will aprove of these changes. No time/schedual changes. 1, No more fuel or tire useage multipliers. 2, No more mandatory pit stops. This is just for fun... You don't need a pit strategy to have a fun race. 3, This is my personal favorite... Bullwinkle (Tim) showed me how to use the "log" the server keeps of the race and be able to give a much more detailed and, more accurate write up on the particulars of the race. I'm excited! The real race, once again, was at the back of the pack. J-P, Mike, Elbo, and myself had an absolute blast! All four of us didn't get more than 20 car distance between 6th and 9th place for lap after lap after lap after lap... It was awesome fun! Dirty Harry didn't have a good day. He wanted a restart right off the bat. I was well behind at the start and saw the whole thing. I didn't restart the race. There were a couple of other times when I saw him typing some more complaints about other drivers including me. I'm sorry he had a bad day. This was/is a "Just 4 Fun" series after all and no one is/was to be taken too seriously. I hope he comes back this weekend with a better understanding of what these race have been/are about. And yes! There is a "next weekend" here! With the help of Noel Hibbard and NRT_Dave, I now have the "Modified" F3s back on the server! Yay! These cars are too much fun... and I mean it, they are way cool, way fun! They have 25% more torque and 25% more HP than the stock IsI F3s. Kind of half way between F3s and F2s. With the increased power they are actually easier to drive, having more power to help steer the rear end of the cars around corners. If you have a modded skin you can use your skin with these cars. Just let "Get Mod" install the cars. Drive one of the "types" of cars you have a skin for (EVE/Spark) and then migrate that skin into the new folder the game just created for you. Now... I believe that on the EVE you don't have to do that, it will find the skin you've been using for IsI's Historic F2s and F3s. They do use the same skins. The track will be Lienz. All of this is on the server. All of these components ARE working in with Get Mod. Hope to see you all on the track this Saturday/Sunday. Ok... last week's rough opening to Monsoon Season, here in Southern Arizona, took it's toll on last week's race. I was in the middle of re-booting the server when the lights went out. Lost power. A minute later, I had my power back up and proceeded to start my computer... No probs. Tried to log onto the server... big problems; Seeing as the dialogue box was still open, it wouldn't let me back in. I emailed Dave-NRT, telling him of my/our predicament. He replied, saying that their were people on the server, 4 people. And, did I want him to re-boot it anyways. By the time the dust settled, the server was re-booted before the race ended. No log. Well... that was last weekend, this is this weekend. Looks like most of the storms have past, for the day. We should have a good race. I will be re-booting the server before 4:00pm Arizona time to try to alleviate the "Saturday Afternoon Server Grey Out". See you there at 4:00pm Arizona time. Or Midnight, London time. Thanks, Bryan

BB I think ISI have a problem with this new build.......... I had a new guy in Atron you may remember him. I did the usual handed over a setup waited at the gate for him, yadda I did a fast Eau and he stuck with me so I left the hammer down relaxing looking at guages. Next moment I see this flash of red up my outside and gone before we even hit Les Combe. ! lol I asked Atron worried " whats this bs " lol " do you have modded cars ? " Atron was a bit unclear at first what I meant, I explained I know every inch of F3 and Belgium and his car was too fast. Eventually I asked him again and he said only things I have are Historics and BBs mod. You know me BB i got nothing against the modded cars. Just I like testing the builds with default and for rookies they don't need to be faster. hehehe but I have drove them and like the extra power ( just how I would want a modernized eve version with straight cut rubber and hard suspension ) Thing is have you ever had a stock Eve join the modded cars or vice a versa. I never have and you had those cars for quite a while now. So my first thought is something in the new build has let it in my room. ? P.S. You know I am thinking of the larger implication, leagues, etc. ...not my self or room or getting beat by some stock red eve. lol
No but some people do it has been a issue in online sims since ever. One of the advantages of the package system was to stop mismatches. It is nothing to do with the " Fast F3's" it is just that is what we found it in. Maybe others know maybe not it needs to reported I was just telling BB first so as he may try to replicate with others. Anyways if it is possible it must be fixed. Like I said it has never ever happened before. Whether it is something in Build update has caused it or it was always there is of no matter.
Report it... There's a reason for everything... What if you by mistake hosted an rfmod containing both sets of cars?
DD, The only cars that guy should have been able to select are the cars hosted on your server. I believe that's through Match Maker, not nescessarily the game itself. I don't make vMODs that contain both cars. When I join your server, DD, I can only chose the standard F3s. You can look at your server's log for that practice, and go to simresults.net and let that website tell you what he was driving. My EVEs show up as "EVE F3 MS5/1 1966 #100 - EVE F3 rs (EVE_F3)". To find out what he was driving, go to simresults.net; Click "Browse" Navigate to documents\rFactor2\UserData\Log\Results You'll see a list of XML documents. You'll need to figure out which one or two of those files will have 'him' driving in it. Highlight it and select open. Click on "Get Results" and you should be able to find him. It's all there... you just need to hunt him down! LOL. As a note, I have noticed the same thing on your server, DD. It was a warp. Hope this helps!
