Helmet cam is @#$%&*! awesome :D

I tried to take a screenshot, but it doesn't even come close to the immersion you get in-game as the sun angle reflects off the visor of the almighty helmet cam.

Parts of the track, the visor is clear, but when the sunlight hit's it just right, you see all the smudges and marks, and fingerprints, and your vision is blurred..... Fantastically real!

So many subtle things in this game that are easy to overlook. Just brilliant.

The lettering needs to be out of focus, its just to sharp and makes it feel like the visor is far from your face? nice idea though and better than nothing

 

Yeah but in triple screen the quality is much different but the effect is good. It needs a better resolution if you ask me and a little more work. I like it very much tho, but looks not quite right if you look around in a narrow FOV on triple screens. Same goes for all cars tracks.

My POV set on 27° and multiview

 

I have triple screen 5760 x 1080 and it covers the whole screen, don't know why it doesn't for flatspotter.

At 24fov I dont get any of the sides or lettering and smudges could be better quality.

 

Can anyone tell me exactly how to get the headcam on? I only see cockpit, TV cockpit, nose views?

 

On the car selection screen, go into " Tuning " there is an option in there

 

Don't want ot hijack the thread, but, could a mod be created to add the visor mod to any car or it has to be done for each individual vehicle? Thanks
