Trying to drive the FISI at Malaysia is impossible as just cornering at high speed results in a ton of rattle, it's like I'm going over huge sawtooth curbs... My FFB in logitech is 85% master and I turned down ingame FFB to 75% but it's still there.....so any idea how to deal with this?
I found the settings that are just about perfect for my G27. Your mileage may vary. NOTE: This is not a "cure". It just brings the rattle/shakes down to an acceptable level Saved Controller Profile and Controller.ini: Steering effects strength = 8000 Steering torque filter = 4 Jolt magnitude = 1.00000 In-game: FFB = 1.0 Profiler: Overall Effects = 107% Spring Effect = 0% Damper Effect = 0% Center Spring = 0% (box checked) Degrees of Rotation = 900 Allow Game to Adjust Settings = box checked By lowering the steering effects strength, but raising the in-game FFB, you still get all the feeling of the road, but the curbs and off-track are now acceptable. At least for me they are. Remember: once you change settings in your saved controller profile, it must be loaded in-game to have the changes take effect.
Thx Budd, I would say that makes decent improvement on track, but if you hit the rumple strips there's still a huge rattle, although I think only the Open Wheelers do it.....are there any numbers we can punch in to dial down rumple strip contact?
Profiler: Overall Effects = 40% Spring Effect = 10% Damper Effect = 10% Center Spring = 20-40% (box checked) (20 for Monaco, 40 for Spa) Degrees of Rotation = 900 Allow Game to Adjust Settings = box checked thats the smoothest for me and I think I feel everything.
Yeah rumble strips are still a killer. I have yet to find a workaround or solution. I've heard that people with belt motors wheels like Fanatec or Thrustmaster don't get what we get.
I use Steering torque filter = 24 that's the only config I made. FFb feels great anyway and no rattling
Thx Alesi but i have try that and that doesn't completely removed it and you lose too much detail. Otherwise, I must say it feels real good but because of this problems I could not really test intense.
