I just installed the 301.34 with modded .inf by Spets (at Guru3D.com). It seems to give a nice boost to those of us running SLI systems. The driver was released only for the 6-series...the 690 being SLI based, dual GPU. My framerate, which has always been smooth, got a nice shot in the arm. You'll need to extract the unmodded driver download, then drop the modded .inf file (downloaded separately) inside the display.driver folder prior to starting setup. Accept the install signature warning to continue install. It also has a newer audio component. The only side effect is that on computer shutdown, you'll physically have to reach over and turn off the power button yourself. I can do that, given the added performance.
You need to also get the modded .inf file to get the driver to install. It was released only for the 690 out-of-the-box...but I have it working with my 560Ti SLI based system with zero issues. I went from around 80fps to around 118-120fps. I use a rather high resolution for all gaming, so those additional frames are massive.
@Saabjock : 301.34 is a unified beta driver for all cards, you shouldn't have to fiddle with the inf. I think you're thinking of the 300.00 driver which was released when the 680 came out.
