I sent the cams to Tuttle, he had some issues with them when trying to repackage. Not sure if it got sorted but I sent a second version as the first had a couple odd additions in the cam file.

He is quite busy with something so not sure when he will be able to take another look at it.

It would be much easier if it worked like rf1how we could just drop a new cam file into the track folder and it would use that instead of the one packaged in the track.

Dev mode was a little unstable for me in the cam editor, but they worked there but as i never tried them in the regular mode I don't know what could be causing the issue Tuttle had with them.

    Morning guys.

As Martymoose said I'm encountering some problems with the cam file as i can't find a way to package them in a small update as already done for the .90b. BTW I do not have tried yet the new file Marty sent me so I'll try to re-package asap.

Of course, for what I saw, the camera set is not something perfect and it needs some fix and tuning to look properly....but you're pushing to get a cam set so this is the one you'll get as it is, until Marty (or me) find the time to make it perfect.

Honestly this is not they way I like working, I know you want want want (and this is nice), but I would like to release when is the time to release. When everything is working as expected. ;)

Tuttle, your working methods have produced some fine work. I think you should stick to the methods you're comfortable with.

I agree with argo0 and Flaux...

It is nice to have your work (and mm`s) sought after Tuttle but stick to your ways of working and don`t rush things out. :)

I experience the same thing with Topeka where I wanted to update just the .aiw. It seems that there is no way to update the small track-defining files (scn, gdb, aiw, cam) at the moment. Those require a new full package.

There is a way to create update. I did so with my AIW for some tracks to test them in single player mode, i made small update package with just layout folder's mas, installed over and there you go - new version.

I learned this techique from one video made by ISI, can't recall which... Probably about creating vmods. What you need is properly specify which version you updating, add ALL mas'es required for track to work (with new one with layout) and remove checkboxes near that ones is not updated. For me it worked perfectly.

I never noticed this before Tuttle but when wet/raining at Dunsfold, where the grass has been cut (the strips left after cutting has taken place) looks all white and kind of shiny...

    Just thought I`d say...

Ahh right... this will be the same issue that`s affecting the cars at night too as they go white.

Oh well, good to know it`s not a track specific thing and will be fixed up with future builds.

Affirmative. That is very, very good news for rFactor2 ;) Congratulations!

Will you still be allowed to work on and complete the projects you've started as a modder, like this and the Dallara?
