I want to create a server on my PC so my friend and myself can play with AI cars. I can create a dedicated server however I can only join my own one if I tick the LAN box. My friend however gets 'Server Connection Failed' Now I have done a search and tried all possible ideas - enable the firewall for the dedicated server.exe and forwarded the following ports in the router - I have used the program on Port Forward website which tells me that each one those ports ARE open. I've EVEN checked in my multiplayer.ini that those are the ports - WAN Query Port="44297" // range is 1025 - 65535 WAN Join Port="54297" // range is 1025 - 65535 LAN Query Port="44297" // range is 1025 - 65535 LAN Join Port="54297" // range is 1025 - 65535 Any other ideas? If anyone is online that ready to test it for me I will load it up. Thanks for reading and hopefully someone can help
Have you setup port forwarding or port triggering? That image above is for port triggering, in port forwarding you should have External Start Port, External End Port, Internal Start Port Internal End port finally service type, TCP, UDP or Both. You also need to specify the IP address of the computer on the network hosting the dedicated server. The Port Forward website should tell you how to forward the ports on your router.
Heroes. All sorted now While I'm here - how can I set up a dedicated server where I can pick different cars and different tracks? I'm currently only allowed certain tracks with certain cars. Thanks

Sorry for my English! Unfortunately I have another problem. I can not get the server to the other player in. Error: Server Connection Failed Same problem for me and rF1, but there the problem is solved Edith file multypleyer.ini where changing ports and at the entrance to the server port is attached. How to solve the problem in rF2? (do not let it play on the server where my friends)
