*296.10 with RF2 Support for SLI * nVidia 295.73 Driver released Official release (not Beta) today, just a heads up to those that might not have Check For Updates ticked. I had the Beta before this so I'm not expecting any improvement but will report back if I do get any.
It seems to run fine here. No increase in fps...but no issues to report with build 60 either. Update: Driver appears to be causing unexpected shut down of RF2.exe... after approximately two laps on circuit. It could have been related to the new 9.12.0203. Physx update added after driver installation. Reverted to 295.51 and the issue resolved itself.
Installed and... uninstalled. They make my GTX 560 Ti 448 go 10 degrees hotter than the previous beta release. I'll wait for the next WHQL release.
I know. That's why I wrote that I'll wait for the next one to see if things have improved on this side. In the meantime I went back to the beta version.
the new driver removed all SLI and Physics settings so I removed it Ill wait for the next one I am already getting over 70fps so I am good
I'm still using two versions older driver. The newer just made my GPU hotter and stutters in some games. I'm not even trying this fresh one, Nvidia is realising drivers each one worse than the previous. For who were facing temperature issues, is worth to try this http://www.evga.com/precision/ You might manage the coolers of the GPU very effectively. I got 15ÂșC less average by using this. Price: louder noise and maybe descrease life-expectancy of fan (not proved realistically so far).
I'll give it a try: judging by the screens it seems very similar to MSI Afterburner, that you can use to tune fan too.
Do you have a realtek onboard LAN by any chance? Its a known bug they are working on (i sent Nvidia a support ticket and they confirmed that).
Just got a note from Nvidia saying the new drivers (296.10) should fix it... They've just been released and i noticed this in the changelog: cool
