I managed to get, is that the file has to be in TrackMapPlugin.ini two folders; ".../rfactor 2/" and ".../rFactor2/Core" Thank you for the wonderful plugin
any way to: get the display all the way to the right [red arrow] ? get the cars ahead to be '-' & cars behind to be '+' ? [rf2 displays the times properly, as you can see] thanks
1) About Right Alignment is a bit problematic, because Grid width depends on optional info like Max Speed. So please Set grid position with mouse. 2) Grid can work in different modes: a) Gap to leader. In this mode all GAP are with '+' sign b) Gap relative to me. Cars ahead to me use '+' and cars behind me use '-' ( or viceversa, now I don't remember ) c) Gap between cars. Always '+' sign You can change Grid mode editing TrackMapConf.txt and changing Grid_Mode parameter. //0 = Relative to ME. 1 = Relative to Leader. 2 = Gap with Previous car Anyway, soon I will release a new version that works correctily. Just wondering where this file should go d3d9.dll? I put it in to the Core folder but rfactor wouldn't start so I took it out and put it into the plugins folder. I have the Motec Plugin working and another as well. I assume this plugin turns on automatically when working properly thanks

About alignment, I will check code. About Gap Mode, if you prefer you cas assign a KEY/BOTTON to change mode in game. Please refer to GRIDMODE and GRIDCLASS parameters in trackmapconf.txt section [KEYS] GRIDMODE : To change GAP mode ( Relative To ME, To LEADER, ... ) GRIDCLASS: To change Cars displayed in GRID. I have been using the map plugin since it was released. Use it in rF1 also. Love it. In rF2 when viewing a replay I have the Map icon right in the center of the screen for the entire replay. Disabling by renaming d3d9.dll and then running the replay removes it, but that is a bit of a pain. Is this normal or is it just me?
i am having a world of trouble trying to get this plugin working, i have tried updating my dx and Visual C++ as directed in your pdf, but i already have the latest files it says. the game just flat crashes if i install it with all included files, but if i rename the d3d9.dll i can at least play. i have tried using other d3d9 files from other locations, and the game loads but the plug in never seems to be working, i have tried alt+space to get the menu up as a verification that it works, am i missing something? please any help would be great. Edit: Not sure if it helps but im running the following setup.... Win7 x64 1090t CPU gtx470 SLI 4 gigs ram also i tried closing different apps that might have overlays, such as afterburner, steam, and d3overrider for vysnc+triple buffering
Presuming Max still has only one monitor is there anyone willing and able to help him get this Plugin working on a 2nd Monitor? If that could happen then that'd be amazing, prefer to keep my main screen clean with some of these options on a 2nd screen....obviously cant do that with this yet but if you could in the future my life would be complete
With the new Heartland Park Topeka - Full track, I do not get the "Full" track to display. I just get the Club option displayed. Same deal for the "Intermediate" version - it shows the Club
The pluggin has stopped working in build 85. When in car i do not see anything anymore. Tried reinstalling but it does not work. When in the garage screen, i do see the map.
