MonSum has been working very hard on getting Mid-Ohio to work in the new game with all of the latest and greatest stuff. Here's what he had to say, "just a first little view on the nightlight. the positive side of the new night mod is that you can use far more light sources without any impact and also can tag more objects as light receiver. it's only a beginning - i will play a bit to light up the whole track."
That's one of the tracks I've been looking forward to in rF2 with the new tech. If he needs beta testers he knows where to find me.
This is by far, my favorite track for rF1: amazing textures, cameras placement (the only one where you can watch replays endlessly), and road surface, etc. You can try every rf1 mods available you can't go wrong with this track. Can't wait to see what rF2 can bring to it.
Well, what can I say... I didn't expect to read this news so soon, but I'm definitely happy about it! Thanks VLM.
Uhmm, why not? In my opinion, the rF1 version is already superb. So converting it from rF1 to rF2 is the fastest way (according to Scott Juliano in Track modding forum). Now, add rFactor2 specific features like RealRoad, environment reflection, etc, then this track is ready for rF2. And I agree, this is great news!
Yes, on rf1 it is superb circuit. Few weeks ago I had great race in my league @Mid Ohio & DRM But...we have 2012 and I think we have to push ourselves to create as good as possible circuits (and cars too). If we don't...sims like C.A.R.S, AC or even iRacing always will be better in terms of graphics. It depends on modders how rf2 will looks.
I love this track- it's usually where I test. And the VLM version is the best of all of them. I can't wait to drive this one online!!! oh wait....
Thank you for this early update. I was checking monsum regulary for it, didnt expect a thread this soon. Rouen of course would be great.
