295.85, are you sure? 295.51 betas came out in the last couple of days. Can you post a link to the site distributing 285.85s, please?
SLI, multimonitor? There's really only one reason why guys here are asking about video drivers and that's the hopes that it allows us to run SLI without framerate hit.
Tried them with my gtx 260 sli no change from before (still slow in 30 to the 20s) in the short time I have used them with the SLI turned on (have not turned it off yet play too many other games that sli works with). Cpu usage is still low (no one core is anywhere near 100%) and gpu usage on EVGAs precision shows 95% usage on one gpu and about nothing on the 2nd... Trying to run 1920x1200. system = I7 2600k @ 4ghz 8gb ddr3 2 GTX 260s dual monitor (so I can see the CPU and GPU usage on the 2nd screen while in game) Win 7 64bit sp1 updated The fun of watching a program / game develop... at least they are calling this a beta I have seen some things come out that where much more buggy than this as a final product
I had no problems at all ... until i installed this driver. Now rfactor2 crashes at irregular intervals ... and some other programs too
So no fix for the SLI 'bug' in RF2 and no increase in fps over 295.51? I'll pass. RF2 runs great on one 560Ti anyway. I really only need the updated driver to counter the slight annoyance of having to constantly disable SLI everytime I want to launch the sim. My only reason for downloading a 120+MB file would be if it 'fixed' something.
installed and i can;t run any of my rF1 installs.. runs DX11 but no change in FPS.. reverted back to my old driver and everything running fine.. be careful guys
